cintinative
I had this, and my brother had one where you could piecemail monsters and then color them. Edited November 3, 2023 by cintinative 29
Spryte
I would have preferred the monster version, but yes.
Tap
My daughter had one but I didn’t. I wasn’t into stereotypical girly things. I was more into open ended crafts or being outside. I have a big family and my parents didn’t really buy toys.
MEmama
I remember them but not sure if I had one. My sister might have, or my BFF whose parents were divorced so got **all** the things. Even Jordache jeans she had to lie down on the bed to zip up, lol. 4
Cecropia
Melissa and Doug makes them these days. I've given a few as gifts somewhat recently... kids still seem to like them. https://www.melissaanddoug.com/products/fashion-design-activity-kit
Mothersweets
I remember this! My sister had one and she would only let me use it after I performed some menial task for her. 😂 4
ikslo
We had one at our house! 3 girls. I don’t remember whose it was exactly - we all played with it.
saraha
I did and my sister and I would fight over it. We always seemed to want to use it at the same time and we would have fashion shows where we cut them out, pasted to popsicle sticks and walked a cat walk

Carrie12345
I LOVED that thing! I think one of my nieces has a more modern one. As a later Xer, I wasn’t all that impressed by the specific clothing designs, but I was OBSESSED with the hair!

Arcadia
I didn’t remember seeing this in stores but I don’t like pink in general and I mainly pick LEGOs. I had the paper cut dolls because that was given by my 1st grade teacher as a year end gift to students (Catholic girls school). e.g.

pitterpatter
Yes. There was one at my grandma's too. While I wasn't into fashion, I did find the mix and matching fascinating. Either my uncle or cousin had the monster one, I think. I bought DD the Melissa & Doug version. The design and materials weren't as good, so it didn't work quite as well. While she played with it some, she much more enjoyed all the different apps that essentially did the same thing digitally.

Wildcat
I had the one pictured and my brother had the monsters one. MercyA
YES!!! I still have mine and the original expansion pack as well. My brother had the monsters one, too. I *loved* using the different texture plates when coloring the clothes. I also still have my "Great Greetings" set. A new Fashion Plates came out about 10 (?) years ago (not the Melissa and Doug one). They still make it, in five different styles. Vintage81
Woah! My grandparents had one at their house and my cousin and I used to love playing with it. They’re both passed on now, and I have no clue what happened to it. What a nice thing to remember today. Thank you! ☺️
