I have more scars than I can count. All from working at a cat clinic. Some have faded over they years but a couple cats got me real good. 🙂

DD20 is an art history major and is currently working with clay. She made me an ornament. It was a labor of love and I treasure it. It’s K-9 from Doctor Who. DD22 got me a cookbook that I mentioned once in passing. I had seen it on tik tok. I collect quirky cookbooks and this fits perfectly.

None of my immediate neighbors were hurt. I don’t know about the greater neighborhood ( I’m new here and a bit of an introvert). 114 houses destroyed and over 800 damaged. 3 deaths, 60? injured. Schools have been closed for the week. 1100 still without power. Public school bus drivers are transporting volunteers to affected areas. Churches have set up the donations, portable showers and laundry trailers. So many local business are cooking or donating their services free of charge. The outpouring of help is amazing.

It came way too close for comfort here in Clarksville. Our house is standing, but only a few blocks away they are not.

My dd20 loves Panera and loves fancy drinks. She is usually pretty cautious because she is sensitive to caffeine and can only have it in moderation. She had no idea how much caffeine was in it. I’m fortunate her reaction was manageable. Our local store has moved this drink behind the counter.

I’m the morning person so I’m the one to bring him coffee in bed. He always makes sure a water bottle is by my side.

We use eufy. No monthly fees. We use the solar powered cameras outside. I’m happy with this system. We had Wyze years ago and they were good little cameras but we didn’t like the outdoor options in the new house or the monthly fee.

It varies. If you want to be within a few hours drive of big civilization, it would be in the millions for half that acreage. I was surprised to find a half decent house on 25 acres for 500,000 but it’s in the middle of nowhere and I’m sure you can hear banjos in the wind 🤣

Trupanion I believe, is the only one that adjusts your bill at the time of payment at the vet office. All the other ones you pay the full bill then submit it to the insurance. edit to add…. also usually with your first visit to the vet with your pet they should be able to send you an offer through email for a free month of trupanion.

I'm one of those that was raised to never ask for exceptions. I have mellowed over the years, but wish that leaders would be able hold the line better in some occasions. Our local library had a teen tuesday activity. My girls loved it and enjoyed the big kids only aspect of it. It grew in popularity, and soon younger kids started asking to join. My girls were irritated that all "the little kids ruined it" because the focus changed from the teens to the younger ones.
