Thank you for your thoughts and prayers.

 

David was never found.  The peak he was climbing has a bad reputation (lots of loose rock)-- many hikers go missing there and are never found.  We hope and pray he is found next spring (next window) so there is closure (also insurance will not pay out for 5 years!)

 

It has been a sad holiday season... our usually vibrant family get togethers were very muted.

 

His wife and children are really struggling (emotionally)-- children are 14, 12 and 7.  We would appreciate your continued prayers for them.

I am so sorry!  And yes, I hope there is closure.  DH has a friend that went missing over two years ago (solo flight - plane never found either) and has never been found.  It makes it all so much harder.

I cannot even begin to imagine what that must be like. For all of you, and especially his wife and kids.
