Tomorrow will be the first of three unfathomably horrible days for my husband, my mother-in-law, my sister-in-law, and my young niece. I feel utterly helpless and broken, so I'm asking for some spiritual assistance from the Hive, if you're so inclined. My brother-in-law was an excellent police officer and one of the kindest, funniest, most caring people you'd ever meet.
