Happy
Yes, I do. :) No, I can't fit in it anymore. I also have my mom's wedding dress and my daughter in laws as well.
Catwoman
Yup. It's a red Fendi dress, and I still love it. (I wasn't into the whole traditional gown thing!) I haven't worn it in years and years, but I will probably always keep it.

magnificent_baby
Yes and I always will unless I pass it down to Dd. I have a terrible habit of regretting things I pick out: furniture, paint colors, clothing, etc. One exception is my wedding dress. Even after 12 years, I am still so happy that's the one I chose. maize
I was married in my grandmother's wedding dress, I still have the dress and maybe some day one of my daughters will wear it.
Melissa in Australia
Yes. it is a floral dress. I have worn it a few times. you wouldn't know it was a wedding dress really.
Joker
Yes! I thought one of my dds might wear it, but they're already taller than me (at 13 and 11), so I don't think that's going to happen now. I'm still glad I have it though.
Kathryn
Yes. I tried it on just a little over a month ago for the first time since we were married. Still fits.
MomOfOneFunOne
AMDG Yes, I still have the dress. My (14 year old) daughter plans to wear it when she gets married. The veil and the head thingy it was attached to I dismantled and used the beads for her baptismal gown so I don't still have that.
BigMamaBird
Yes, I have mine. My Mom also has her's as well as my Grandmother's.
NoseInABook
Yes, I do. I'm keeping it in case one of my daughters wants to use it in the future. If they don't, I'm cool with that too.
Erica in OR
Yes, although while doing the 52-week decluttering thing this year, I've been debating whether to do something with it. The box takes up quite a bit of room in my closet. The dress is winter wedding style, so passing it down to a daughter might/might not work. We're years away from that anyway. My mom suggested maybe making it into keepsake items to give to my children. She has a pattern for heart-shaped Christmas tree ornaments made of velvet with pretty embellishments. Since the dress is white velvet, that could work. Picturing myself cutting it up though, I'm back-and-forth about it. Erica in OR
Farrar
Yup. It's a red Fendi dress, and I still love it. (I wasn't into the whole traditional gown thing!) I haven't worn it in years and years, but I will probably always keep it. Hey, mine's also red! Yep, still have it. Folded and sealed in plastic somewhere. Chelli
Yes, I have mine. If my girls don't want to wear it, then I will have it made into something special for my grandchildren (dresses, blanket, etc.).
scholastica
Yup. My mom had it cleaned and preserved. It's on the top shelf of my closet. My dds like to look at it. scholastica

redsquirrel
I think my mom has it as well. I know it would still fit because I weight the same. I have no idea why she has it. I am guessing because she knows I would have got rid of it or let the kids play with it or worn it for Halloween or something.

melbotoast
I still have mine. It still mostly fits (when I'm not pregnant) but my rib cage has expanded!
Guest inoubliable
PHN Nope. My mom has it in a closet with a bunch of other gowns - baptismal, wedding, first communion.
jewellsmommy
Yes and it still fits, although a bit tighter than I remember :D .
Occasionally
Sort of. I had it made into a christening gown that all of my DC wore.
skeeterbug
Nope, I don't have mine...but I rented mine so I never had it to begin with. Renting my dress allowed me to wear a super-nice dress that I would never have been able to afford. I actually found the one I wanted in a bridal magazine and asked the shop to order it in for me. They agreed because the particular style of dress was one they knew they'd be able to rent again and thus recoup their cost. I am glad not to have it sitting in a box somewhere. Can you tell I don't feel sentimental about it at all? ;) I have no desire to pass it down to my daughter, so I have no regrets. My mom still has hers!! Maela
Yes! My mom made it. She's an amazing seamstress, and it's beautiful. It's in our attic. Dd seems to maybe have my body type, so if she wants to wear it that would be lovely. If not, I'll probably always keep it anyway.
Sara in AZ
Yes. I always meant to have it preserved in a nice box. Yet it sits in a Rubbermaid bin in the garage. No way would I ever fit in it.
Elfknitter.#
PHN Yes and no. It's actually at my mother's house and I don't fit it. However, it's not a bridal dress. I was married at our local ren faire, so it's a tailor made ren dress for upper middle class wear. As dresses for weddings at the time was the best garment you had, we went for that. It's a kind of bluish-hunter green wool with matching doublet and a tan embroidered foreskirt.
Excelsior! Academy
No. Wore it a few times and donated it. It was white and lace, but not traditional.
mumto2
Yes, fortunately it is a simple style. It will need to be altered quite a bit for dd if she wants to wear it. She is shorter and her basic body structure is tiny compared to mine!
gerka528
I had my dress turned into a christening gown and all 3 of my girls have now worn it.
MamaSheep
In a manner of speaking. I made it into a baptism dress for dd when she was eight. :)
gardenmom5
yes - though I don't know why. 1dd has far too much chest to fit into it, and 2dd is far too tall and broad shouldered.
lailasmum
Nope. My actual wedding dress was very cheap, it got very lightly damaged by the dry cleaners (they sort of ruined the finish of the fabric) after we got married abroad and I gave it away to someone so it got used at at least 2 weddings.. Then we had a sort of blessing thing with our family and I borrowed an extremely expensive dress from a friend who ran a very posh shop. So I never owned that one. Tap
Yes, and I really have no idea why. Probably because it is just a regular dress, and is in a big bundle in my closet with other dresses that are kind of timeless styles. If it were big or took up much room in a box, it would have been gone a long time ago. My cake topper and small bouquet (it was fake flowers but seriously looked real) have been in the dress up box for years.
bettyandbob
Yes. In a sealed box. I should probably get rid of it. It was a style that was trendy for wedding dresses at the time. I wouldn't mind if dd wanted to wear it. I don want her to feel compelled to wear I.
Tammi K
Nope. It was stored in an appropriate box but still yellowed horribly. So, in the trash it went.
Pawz4me
Yes. Had my mom take it to have it professionally cleaned and boxed right after the wedding, while we were on our honeymoon. I have no idea how it's held up, I've never opened the box. I really don't know why I keep it, but if one of the boys marries a very short size 6 she can have it if she wants. LaCEmom
Yep, and it's still got some of the original dirt on the bottom because I never has it cleaned.

Aspasia
Nope. I rented mine. I'm a super practical person and I just couldn't justify that cost for a dress I was only going to wear once. But now that I'm getting old and becoming more sentimental, I kinda wish I did have it. I would love to have my grandmother's wedding dress, and now it's pretty much guaranteed that none of my grandchildren (or even children) will ever see mine. :(

MissKNG
Nope! I gave it to my bf when she got married and when her dh's daughter got married, the dress was passed onto her! All they had to pay for were the alterations and cleanings.
NicksMama-Zack's Mama Too
No. I kept it for 15 years or so, and then just realized that I am not very sentimental and dropped it off at the local Salvation Army. Hoping some young idealistic bride got some use out of it.
m0mmaBuck
Nope. I borrowed it from my friend and gave it back after the wedding.
