Gil Posted April 17, 2015 Author Share Posted April 17, 2015 Thanks everyone. The actual anniversaries themselves tend to be the worst of the "bad days". So I don't even acknowledge them anymore, today feels a little better, but not much. I figure if I tell someone (or everyone) that I'm sober, then I can't break it. He's now been sober for over ten years and said it got significantly easier after 7. He's a great grandpa, but I so wish he was there when I was a child.
