  1. If anyone wants to watch Dorian in real time my son"s future BIL has a camera set up on the beach in Ponte Vedra, FL. https://youtu.be/Eaq0GU9CeNc
  2. Mine was born of several things. I am a huge Stargate fan. I also love the quote " Life isn't about waiting for the storm to pass but learning to dance in the puddles". Between the two, my user name and avatar came to be 😊The number is just there because there is another PJ in the membership.
  3. You can archive an order even if it hasn't shipped. It won't show on your order page that way. I struggle to remember where to find them again so for me they are pretty well hidden 😁
  4. As I suspected - hiding in plain sight ?. How I missed that is anyone's guess! Thank you!! You have made my day. On my phone it's under the post but still as big as life ?
  5. Is there a way in this new system to follow posts? I see the share button but don't see a way to follow without posting. Am I just missing it?
  6. I am working on organizing and setting up the library at our church. There are already quite a few books (somewhere around 1000 I guess) but they've just been stacked in a haphazard way til now. I've got them sorted by subject so far. Next step is cataloging them. Is there a computer program you'd recommend for that? I'd love something that takes the ISBN and gives the spine numbers and cataloging info. Does such a thing exist? Any other hints and ideas are very welcome! Thanks!!
  7. THANK YOU!! My Mom carried a vial with everywhere when I was a kid.
  8. There was a thread recently that talked about Epi pens. Several people mentioned an alternative that wasn't as expensive. I can't, for the life of me, find the thread. What are the other epi pen type of medications out there? Thanks!
  9. I would have your friend contact police directly. I recently went through a talk shared by a detective who said sharing photos like that, even innocently with a friend for help, can be viewed by law enforcement as distribution of child porn since there is at least one minor. I would not contact anyone else involved in those pictures. Turn it all over to law enforcement.
  10. Hugs and prayers. I am so sorry for your loss.
  11. Keeping you in prayer. So glad you are able to spend time with her.. :grouphug: :grouphug:
  12. :grouphug: :grouphug: :grouphug: I am so sorry. Lots of prayers and hugs.
  13. Yes! My son had very little in the way of digestive issues when he was diagnosed. He was dealing with other issues (wrist pain, brain fogginess to name a couple). Celiac was actually a random 'check it off the list' test. His GI was surprised when blood work came back positive and shocked at the level of damage to his gut with so few digestive issues.
  14. My oldest and dh both have Celiac. Since ds' diagnosis (his was first) dd is tested every 3 years (bloodwork) by our GI. My youngest has been gf since years before ds'/dh's diagnosis due to his special needs but GI doctor even had us do a gluten trial with him so we could test and know for sure what we were dealing with. The repercussions of undiagnosed/untreated Celiac are significant. I'd definitely have your children tested.
  15. I am so very, very sorry.
  16. I am so very, very sorry for the loss of your beautiful daughter.
  17. Congratulations!! :001_wub: Beautiful name for a beautiful little girl!
  18. I am an other :) I do not have one now but have joyfully had one in the past. I rather like junk drawers - they're like a mini mystery with all the unknowns lurking about.
  19. What a great update! So glad it wasn't what they expected.
  20. Glad you've got surgery behind you. Praying for you.
  21. I am so very, very sorry Jan. Keeping you all in prayer.
  22. :grouphug: :grouphug: :grouphug: Praying!!
  23. Dh has celiac and is allergic to corn. He is still having some issues even being strict gluten and corn free. At his GI appointment this morning the doctor suggested he follow FODMAP (gf and corn free). He sent him home with some literature and, of course, there are LOTS of websites out there but I'd love some btdt input. Good websites, reliable facebook pages, favorite books, recipes - that sort of thing. If you follow this diet or know anything about it I'd love your input :)
  24. Dd has a double major with a complimentary minor. History and Anthropology majors which dovetail together nicely and an art minor (required by her history major). So far, so good. Several classes she will take fall into both majors so she shouldn't have a problem finishing in the 4 years of undergrad.
