KungFuPanda
Two are in your son's room. Two were tossed in the trash unseen under a napkin. One has been 'put away' by well meaning menfolk somewhere strange like the utensil crock or with the serving forks. You're welcome.

Mrs Mungo
What do I do if no one can enter DS's bedroom due to the noxious fumes? That is why my teens had to clean their rooms and return them. Dory
I have found them in the bathroom (not sure if I want to know how they got there), in beds, in the winter hat basket, in the couch, in laundry baskets, In with the Lego (I guess you can take pieces apart with forks). Really, I've found them everywhere.

Murphy101
In your yarn project bag where you have been using them to make various sized pompoms? Yep. True story. One of my young adult kids came in my room at 1am once to say, "What the hell?! We have enough silverware to serve 35, but I can't find ONE clean fork?! Who has dish duty, because they are sucking at their chore!" Me, who was quietly knitting, humming and rocking a 3 yr old to sleep, "I know, right? It's so hard to breed good help, but God knows few women are trying harder than I have! Wait a second, I think I still have some in my yarn bag..." Digs around in yarn bag and finds four of various sizes. Beloved son standing there staring at me bemused, "You have forks in your yarn bag?! You know this family isn't normal, right?" Me, "Yes. You got a problem with that?" Son, "Nope. Not as long as I can eat my enchiladas like a civilized person."
