Kari C in SC
My niece just had her second baby boy today. She named him Owen Timothy for my son. I am thrilled that she did. At the same time it just hurts so much that anyone is naming their baby "after my son". I don't know why I am posting here. I guess because she doesn't come here and I just don't want her to think for a minute that I am not beyond happy they chose this. I am so honored they did. I just am having a really hard time knowing I won't ever have grandkids from my son. Thanks for listening.

Julie in CA
Oh Kari...it's so sweet, but picture me, with my arms around you, trying not to weep along with you. I'm so glad they chose to honor your son's life this way, but so sorry that it brings you a measure of pain along with the joy. :grouphug:

Chris in VA
Lots of hugs. My brother died just before my other brother and his wife adopted a son. They gave him my brother's name for a middle name--it kinda hurt my sil. Just made it "real," I guess.
