Alphabetika
MaryRose Lilly Isabella Elspeth You'll find names like Mary are less common than Piper. Hee hee - my dd Piper's middle name was almost Mary. :) I'm very fond of the name Frances, but no one else liked it for our dd#3, so she's Charlotte. And it fits her perfectly - pretty, but some mischief around the edges. Edited November 28, 2010 by Alphabetika

LaissezFaire
How about Lisa? Lisa Marie even? Lisa first appeared on the SS top 20 list in 1958. It was #1 from 1963 (the year I was born) to 1969. It disapeared completely from top 20 in 1982 and in 2009, ranked #686. You won't find many Lisas now, it's very uncommon, but still classic and pretty. I love it! I'm REALLY hoping for a granddaughter named after me someday. ;) Other favorites: Laura, Grace, Claire, Cora, Corina, Caroline, Christina, Jessi, Gloria, Julia, Dianna, Faith (My DD9 is ClaireAnna Marie) signed: Not really Katemary, but....Lisa Marie! ps. My DH is named Ted. For a while we seriously considered naming her "Teddi Marie". My name is Lisa. I hardly ever hear of babies being named Lisa. Now all of my girls names have been suggested in this thread as well as my name. LOL I love the name Ludivine but my husband said NO WAY. canadianmum
You haven't said what you're leaning toward! Here're our girls' names: Noel Elizabeth (yes, Audrey, if you're reading this, we did spell it the masculine way in our ignorance!:tongue_smilie:) - "Noel" we just liked, and "Elizabeth" is mine and my mother's middle name Petra Helena (pronounced Paytra Helayna) -feminine of Peter (loved the sound of it) and "light"; Helena is a form of Helen Geneva Frances -after the Geneva Convention and my dad, Frank (free man) Gwyneth Patricia - after her two grandmas (my mum was Gwendolyn) We also have a babe gone before her time. We didn't know if she was a girl, but only liked the one name: Agnes (lamb) Rose (paternal great grandmother). Please let us know what you pick! Have fun! Nancy in Alberta.
