And, frankly, if the recipient celebrates Yule, Kwanzaa, or any other holiday in the general vicinity of December and January, I would like them to have a happy one of those, as well. Sometimes people here do say they are having pictures done, but they still go to the studio to have the pictures taken. Make sense? Only the turkey is done. :D Oh, and most of my adult life was spent in California. When I was growing up in Virginia, with grandparents from North Carolina, there was never, ever any discussion about doing formal family portraits; after we children started school, those pictures were the only ones that were taken other than informal snapshots, and we never made reprints of those.
