NicAnn
So as some of you know, we are expecting triplet boys soon. Well hopefully not too soon, 2 months or so. Anyway, to distract from the crushing financial strain of having triplets, keep me entertained with name choices! DH and I can go one of two ways- 1. respectable, classic, etc. or 2. Since we will already have stares, inappropriate questions, and judgement, we can live it up and go themed! Our choices in category 1: Isaiah James, Ezra Kent, and Jasper John/james Isaac, Ezekiel (Zeke) Caleb Henry Category 2: Sequoia, Cedar, and Oak Jayne, Malcolm, and River (firefly anyone?) Tiny, Shiny, and Don (my sons choices) Lincoln, Clinton, and Nixon (to keep it bipartisan) Aiden, Braiden, and Jaiden OR Aaydyn, Braydyn, and Jaydyn
Rachel
I love bible names. My vote is Ezra, Isaiah, and Isaac. Tiny, Shiny, and Don is hilarious. That's what you should tell people when they ask.
3girls4me
Henry, Isaac and James!!!
Jaybee
#1 Isaac, Luke, Jake (or Zeke) #2 Bibbidy, Bobbidy, Boo (though I do like Tiny, Shiny, and Don) Curly, Larry, Mo Tic, Tac, Toe B,L,T Oh brother, I could carry this on forever, getting worse each round. Maybe I need to get off the computer. . .
Cindy in FL.
I like these: Isaiah, Kent, and Jasper
Liz CA
Your sense of humor is still well preserved. Have you contacted some mothers' groups of multiples? I like your classic choice of names. I would go with your son's choice as middle names if the poor kiddos would not have to live with it a lifetime. :) All I can come up with: Matthew, Mark & Luke Paul, Timothy & John or any combination thereof. Kebo
From those, I'd go with Caleb, Henry and Isaac. But, I'd have lots of fun first with category 2 : ) Congratulations on your triplets -- I'm sure you have MANY adventures ahead!
freesia
I'd go with category 1! I like Isaac, Isaiah, Caleb and Ezra.
aggieamy
I love the classic name choices. For my fun suggestion: John Gino Sean Can't go wrong with John so it might as well be John in different languages. PS - Chews on Books is a John. We are amazed at the number of people who call him Jonathon. Still. He's almost 10 months old and we still have a few relatives that will call him Jonathon. Tanaqui
I know it's a joke, but just in case, you do realize that if you name them Aiden, Braiden, and Jaiden they WILL team up and become supervillians bent on revenge - right?
Farrar
I kind of like the tree names, but I don't know if I'd be brave enough for it. I knew of siblings that all had astronomy names - Galaxy, Nebula, and... oh, I forget, but there was a third one. When I found out I was pregnant with twins, the very first thing my father said to me was, "Well, whatever you do, don't name them Faye and Ray." Those are his aunt and uncle. So I would want to veto the Aiden, Braiden, Jayden trio.
saw
Roosevelt, Washington, Lincoln, Jefferson -- pick any three for the kids and get a dog for the fourth? With Rushmore as a middle name of course.
BigMamaBird
Athos, Porthos and Aramis!!!!
Ethel Mertz
I love the names Isaiah, Ezra, and Jasper. For fun names, I'd call them Wynken, Blynken, and Nod. http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Wynken,_Blynken,_and_Nod
Stacia
Love your category 2 list! How about a Brady Bunch Theme? Greg, Peter, Bobby ETA: Gilligan, the Skipper, and the Professor
Carrie12345
I'd totally go for some really obscure reference that only awesome people would get. Like naming them Lucas, Mark, and Warren. Except the third one wouldn't really be named Warren, we'd all just call him that. Warren will be the one you have to keep an eye on. claire up north
I have twins. I would strongly suggest you avoid rhyming names or names easily confused, like Shawn and Shane. It makes it too hard on poor ole sleep deprived mom to call the right baby the right name! Also, even if they are fraternal, they will likely look similar as babies. I made little braided bracelets for each of my boys. I put them on in the hospital and left them on for years. (Mine are identical.) even when you and your hubby can tell them apart, other people will really appreciate the help!

claire up north
If you decide to ignore all the wisdom in my previous post, you could name them all Robert and call them Rob, Bob, and Bert.
shukriyya
I like the classics. How about... BenjaminJasperSamuel

Critterfixer
My twins don't have remotely similar names and I still call them by their brother's name, although they look nothing alike. Whether I am sleep deprived or not.
NicAnn
Haha you guys are the best!!
Guest
My twins don't have remotely similar names and I still call them by their brother's name, although they look nothing alike. Whether I am sleep deprived or not. Mine aren't even twins--they're 16 years apart and don't look a thing like each other, but they still get called each other's names. I'd tell people you were going with Aaydyn, Jaydyn, and Braydyn to make them LOVE whatever you actually go with. ;)
Susan in TN
Seeing the Biblical names reminded me of that old Sunday school song "Peter, James, and John in the sailboat". :D Then there's always Shadrach, Meshach, and Abednego.
mommymonster
This in a heartbeat! Except, instead of River, I would go with Simon. Jayne, Malcolm, and River (firefly anyone?) If you go with Jayne, Malcolm and Simon, I'll knit Jayne hats for each of them!
Tenaj
If you are going with Biblical names, I know that my kids would suggest Shadrach, Meshach and Abednego :) My older boys have been trying to convince me of this series for years at our house. Mnemosyne
I love the Dinosaur Train theme. ;) I think the classic names are probably the best bet, the themed ones seem very similar.... easier to mess up names or get them mixed up, IMO. My favorite in your classic list are Isaiah and Henry, though I'm partial to Lucas (I have one) too.
Cinder
Harry, Ron, and uh, Herman. You meant Harry, Ron and Neville, right? ;) This in a heartbeat! Except, instead of River, I would go with Simon. If you go with Jayne, Malcolm and Simon, I'll knit Jayne hats for each of them! I'd go with Wash instead of Simon. MomtoCandJ
Rob, Bob and Ron (and yes dh has uncles with those three names, now trying to remember which one is which in a sleep deprived haze is not fun)
Cinder
Seriously, though, I'd go with classic names because I'm square that way. But for fun you could also consider Manny, Moe and Jack. Or Groucho, Chico and Harpo. :D
NicAnn
This in a heartbeat! Except, instead of River, I would go with Simon. If you go with Jayne, Malcolm and Simon, I'll knit Jayne hats for each of them! That is SO tempting!!
Paige
Frank, Sammy, and Dean Alvin, Simon, Theodore, Peter, James, John Fred, Scooby, Shaggy Thor, Loki, and Odin Billy, Joe, Bob (I like your first choices best. )
myfunnybunch
Mine aren't even twins--they're 16 years apart and don't look a thing like each other, but they still get called each other's names. Ditto for my boys, though they're not quite so far apart. Sometimes I even get the dog's name in there for good measure. :P Cat
Seasider
Category 2: Joshua, Joseph, Daniel (Three Bible persons who, in my recollection, lived exemplarily well in the faith) Category 1: Huey, Louey & Dewey (Wrap them in Duck Commander clothing and pick a Huey Lewis tune as their theme song)
Ravin
I actually like the tree names. Our kids have names from Tolkien. So... Frodo, Drogo, Bilbo Ori, Nori, and Dori
Just Kate
Larry, Darryl, and Darryl. This is my favorite of the options given in this thread!!!

kubiac
I once heard of triplets named Liberty, Equality and Fraternity. Heh. From your list, the tree names are darling.
chocolatechip
From your list I like: Isaac, Caleb, and Henry. (Or Isaiah.) Not a fan of Jasper. But, I really think this opportunity is just screaming for you to name them. . .Peter, James, and John. :D

zoobie
My DH would name them Henry, Dale, and Maddux after his favorite baseball players. Which would be fine because I'd be catatonic in the corner.

Miss Marple
More seriously: Isaac (because we have one); Henry (because I like it for my coming grandson); Caleb Jake, Luke, and Simon (also favorites - yeah, we have those).
