elegantlion
I hate cooking, I hate the gathering of food. I've lost some sense of smell due to chronic allergies, so there is no sense of palette at all. After being sick, I'm still sick, but it's been long coming, I'm just tired of food. I've been eating mostly gluten free for the last year. I've read the Primal/Paleo books and probably like that approach best, but I also do dairy and sweets in moderation. I tend to be "everything in moderation" rather than trying to not eat certain things. I still have to cook for the boys, so I can't strip the pantry like I wish to. But.... So, if you had to pick 5-8 healthy foods (not groups, foods - taking seasonality into account) what would you choose? Curious how others who do their diet. kalanamak
I believe avocados are packed with necessary things, and apples have roughage and all sorts of trace this and thats. I'd start with those and scaffold on anything missing. I'm inclined to think potatoes and olives would be next. Oh, and salt.
