  1. I know Vinson is in Atlanta but I think the implication was that the mother had gone to Dallas before the decision was made to move Vinson to ATL so that she could visit her while she was in Dallas. I'm not sure as it was just something mentioned on CNN quickly, confirmed that she was there, and then they moved on. I hope you are right about the car! I was thinking time wise that wouldn't work, but maybe it would.
  2. So I heard something last night on CNN that Vinson's mother was in Dallas. They mentioned she was there trying to visit Vinson. I am wondering if this is accurate. Is this the same mother (like not a step mother, etc) that she was visiting in OH? If so, how did she get to Dallas from OH? Wouldn't she also need to be in a quarantine? Hopefully, I am just confused here.
  3. I was watching CNN and they said he is the one providing direction for the people in the hazmat suits because their visibility is limited in those suits.
  4. And now they are saying she had a fever while on that flight.... http://www.reuters.com/article/2014/10/15/us-health-ebola-usa-idUSKCN0I40UE20141015
  5. It concerns me that she can be so ill at this point, when from what I thought, it doesn't usually start like that. This could mean she WAS sick on that flight. That is all speculation of course, but it is concerning to me. Also, I saw she was in Cleveland for 3 days. Wasn't she supposed to have daily visits by the CDC at that point? How did she miss 3 of them?
  6. I am really, really hoping that the claims are not true!
  7. Yes all of it was horrible, but the waste up to the ceiling is what made my mouth drop open. :-/
  8. Well, this might explain how she got it. I can't even believe some of these things in this video. I really hope it isn't true. http://www.cnn.com/2014/10/14/health/texas-ebola-nurses-union-claims/
  9. Yes! We have been decluttering for over a year now. It is a process. I will do a room, and then come back and do it again and again, about the 4th time, I finally get it down to only what we use/want. We aren't going for being minimalists, but we just want things to be more simple around here. I want everything to have a place, and just not have any excess. I wasn't a hoarder or anything, we had plenty of room for everything, but I would be the person who would get an "extra" of something just because I was afraid the first one would wear out and I wouldn't be able to find what I liked again, etc. Like with shoes, or whatever it might be that I had a hard time finding to start with. I also bought WAYYYY too many toys. That is now done. Anyway, it has made a huge difference in our lives, in our home, and in our habits and I am loving it! It was definitely overwhelming at first but SOOO worth the work. Anyone just starting, keep going! It will pay off. :)
  10. Oh good. Though, my kids really want to live somewhere that it snows, so they are disappointed that we are missing it all!
  11. I know a girl and a boy Quinn around the same age (under 5), so it works for either for me.
  12. We are having to move to ATL soon and all these storms are scaring me! It never snows where we are from.
  13. With the pain you are having, I'd get it checked out. :( Sorry, hope you heal fast!
  14. Do you have the other symptoms? Fever, lump, red, flu-like, etc? If not, it may be yeast. The sharp, shooting pains that feel like they go al the way through you are a sign of that. But if you have mastitis symptoms, you definitely can get it without nursing. A friend of mine's 13 year old daughter had it earlier this year, never pregnant or nursing.
  15. Whatever is comfortable. I don't care if he likes it or not. :)
  16. I would let it all go. In fact, I recently did, and it feels pretty freeing! I also had a lot of floppy disks with pictures and various info on them (my first digital camera used floppy disks for storage... before memory cards). I don't even have a computer that would be able to get that stuff off of them if I wanted, so I let all those go as well. For me, I don't miss them, but if you think you will, then find a safe place to store them. It won't matter if your kids read them when you die, you will be dead and so you won't care. :) (I mean that in a humorous way, hope it comes across that way!) Good luck!
  17. I had switched to Armour right before getting pregnant with my 2nd (a surprise). I stayed on it the whole pregnancy. No issues, she is 6. Nobody ever mentioned that there might be a problem with it, I didn't even know it was something to look into.
  18. Yes! I have nothing yet, but I have got to start eating this way for health reasons, so I will be back! Thank you for starting this! :)
  19. I'm definitely in! We have a weird January, so some of my weeks will not be able to be planned. 21. Obviously I know nothing of the story or even how old your nursling is so this is totally just an idea, but with your nursing issues I thought I'd just mention to look into a tongue or lip tie if you haven't. A lot of times doctors will even miss it. That may not be it but just check it out and see what you think when you get a chance. Hope everything works out for you!
  22. We used the kids backpacks that they weren't using for the sleeping bags.
