sassenach
I just really want to get to name some "kids" ;) without negotiating with DH. mommaduck
I already have eight kids. I've had eleven pregnancies. One of my children is named Patience. Take a wild guess...those imaginary extra might be fortunate that they would only be imaginary
SonshineLearner
I named my fish when I was young :) That got out some of the names. I actually didn't think she was fake, because... well.... I just thought... "lots of kids... tons too many :)" When she wouldn't share her house info. that was off. Anyway, Names :) I liked Caitlyn Grace; Chad, Stephen, Lindsey, Katya of Katja Clarity is cute (Clare) Elisabeth like my doll when I was young.. and then the ones I used... :) Edited August 8, 2011 by NayfiesMama noticed I can't even think of 17 names... let alone think of birthing them. BMW
oh! I wanna play! I always wanted to name my children. Out of my seven, I named one and influenced a few... I would name my kids: Sarah Laura Amy (I know... probably a boring start, but those were my all time favorite names growing up and they represent very dear things to me!) Nathaniel Joseph Steven Gabriel Claire Rebekah Grace Daniel And now I am having to think too hard of what to name the others, so it's not fun anymore. Although I am sure I can edit and add names when I see some other name lists!!

Wheres Toto
Speaking totally hypothetically since I tend to dream about kind of odd names or spellings and then chicken out when it actually comes down to it..... I'll take off the three that are real: Stephanie George Victoria I guess I could continue with the theme of names of royalty but since that wasn't deliberate, I won't. Jared Nikita (girl) Anna Richard Katherine Francine Patricia Wow this is harder than I thought. Kaleigh Colleen Aisling Connor Angelina Jayden Nicholas I'm kind of weighted to the girls aren't I? Nakia
I have no idea what I would name 17 children. Actually I'm pretty sure I wouldn't be naming them because I'd be committed if I had that many. I love babies. And I'm happy for people that have that many. But, hey, I know my limits!
elegantlion
I think I need a glass of wine before I can handle that thought! I like names, but I write stories so I come up with character names, not children names. Although children can be quite the characters too. Let's see...17? Harrison Eric Julia Jayne Jared Benjamin Alexander Olivia Oliver (maybe they were twins :tongue_smilie:) August Morgan Natalie Kyle Jacob Dylan Christian Reece
LaxMom
It wouldn't matter what their names were, I'd call them the wrong name anyway (no, not from nor have ever lived in NJ). Natalieclare
It is soooo hard for me to imagine it being difficult to come up with names. I mean, I think the only reason I would even consider having more children is just for the fun of naming them! I think I need to have 23 children (my 6 + 17 more) My lists: Zane Kirk Thomas Hugh Oscar Oliver Rafe Piers Blaise August Giles (make that + 19--can't forget Giles!) Louisa Celia Marjory Pippa Virginia Clare Georgette Tamsin Beatrix ( I guess I need 18 extra...I almost forgot poor dear Beatrix) In 2 shakes of a lamb's tale, I could have middle names for them all. myfunnybunch
Girls- Greta Phillipa Beatrice Clementine Violet Frances Jane Georgianna Maisie Boys- Oliver Hugh Julian Atticus August (Gus) John Graham Bennett LOL, can I be your friend too? I had all of the bolded names on at least one of my name lists, and one of my boys is actually named Oliver. (I wanted August or Augustus/Gus ;) but dh said he hated the name. Boo.) This is fun. One of my favorite parts of being pregnant was choosing names. We like family names. My 17 children would be: Ruby Claire (Both family names) Ava Grace (Ava is a family name.) Frances Violet or Violet Frances (Frances is a family name.) (Those 3 were all in the running when I was pg with my boys, thus the middle names.) Hannah Ara (pr. AIR-ah, family name) Brigitte or Bridget Vivian Miriam (family name) Evelyn Gretel or Greta Calvin (family name) Oliver Levi Edward, nn Ned (family name) August (Gus) Atticus November I'd have to have more girls than boys because boy names are too hard. My youngest came home from the birth center without a name. Cat

Diana B
I don't know that I can come up with 17. I was happy to see my DS's name on Carrie1234's list - Sebastian. After that, we'd have Elijah (no middle name picked out yet) - Eli Lillian Jay (named after grandmas) - Lilli Luellen Michelle (is it bad that Luellen came out of a romance novel?) - Ellie Alexandria -- And after that, I'm stumped. Wow, harder than I thought. The names I used to like, I don't any more!

LaxMom
To my name friends, have you been to nameberry.com? I spent way too much time on their when I was pregnant with my twins. :) Seriously. We had the worst time naming the boys. Finding names that were not on the top 10 list for the past decade and also didn't match or create a weird pair was :svengo: My husband really wanted Aidan. We went round and round on a second name and ended up with Quinn. Well, you just can't go around calling Aidan Quinn, now can you? (And, of course, Aidan is one of the most popular names in their age group, so Holden worked out better all around)
