melissel
Grease or When Harry Met Sally, both seriously boosted by viewing in my teen and college (OK, and early post-college) years. Grease was a major factor in our wedding reception--there's some seriously hilarious video footage of the members of our wedding party and plenty of good friends dancing and singing and acting our way through an extended montage of songs from Grease :D People still talk about it, 10 years later. Closeacademy
Probably: "Clash of the Titans" and "Grease" are my top ones. I watched them over and over and over again when I was a kid. In college, it was "Heathers." I had a bunch of friends named Heather and that was the Movie for our group of friends. As an adult I don't watch movies over much.:001_smile:

secular_mom
Hmmmm, I really haven't counted, and I go through 'phases'. When I get really stressed out, and need to get a lot of things done I will sometimes put on a 'soothing' comfort movie to be playing in the background. Sometimes I'll watch it through at least once. My comfort movies: used to be LOTR, I especially liked the bits that showed the Shire and Rivendell The Silver Stallion My Neighbor Totoro Chocolat The Labyrinth The Cat Returns The Princess Bride Amelie Howl's Moving Castle and most recently Chaplin: The Movie When the DC are in bed or otherwise occupied I might watch: Benny and Joon Apocalypto Kingdom of Heaven Ronin Water
BikeBookBread
You've Got Mail The Empire Strikes Back Raiders of the Lost Ark A Christmas Story It's a Wonderful Life Do miniseries count? Pride & Prejudice (A&E) Anne of Green Gables and Anne of Avonlea (CBC) My DH has probably seen Tears of the Sun and Saving Private Ryan in the teens to twenties. I love both of them, but I'm to the point when they come on, I go up onto Netflix and watch a BBC production... This is an interesting thread. We all have our faves, huh? Tap
I don't really rewatch movies. Honestly, it is often hard for me to even watch a movie the first time LOL I suppose You've Got Mail. I have probably seen it 3 times due to it being on TV. Ohhh NO.... I remember. The Color of Money! My bff in high school LOVED that movie, so he watched it all the time. I have to say I 'watched' it 10+ times. When ever we hung out at his house, it was always the background noise. We played a lot of pool back then so it was a natural choice. RoughCollie
I'm not an avid movie watcher. I had seen My Blue Heaven (Steve Martin, comedy) so many times that DH had nearly memorized the script. That was a real long time ago, since the movie came out in 1990 -- before we had kids.
