JenniferB
If you took the personality test, choose the categories that best describe your four areas of personality. I'm curious to see the information compiled as a poll. Here's a link to the test, if you haven't taken it already from the other thread. I took it twice and 2 traits varied and 2 traits were solid, so I just entered the ones that were solid. I think homeschooling tweaks with my personality. I would normally be introverted, but because I only get out of the house once in a while I crave company and people, so that tweaked my results to say I lean toward Extraversion - is that a word? I thought it was extrOversion. The poll spelled it with an "a" ?? Anyway, I don't think that's true, however it revealed that I'm not cut out to be a hermit. Mrs Mungo
I am an ENTP with an INTJ dh. The J/P are close for me. A lot of it is in how questions are worded. For example, I have a lot of empathy for people, but not a lot of sympathy. I hate to be late, so I am always on time (or early). I prefer things with fluid starting times *because* being late stresses me out so much (my mom was always late). Plus, the life I prefer and the life I have are two different things. I would prefer a laid-back P kind of life.

I would prefer a laid-back P kind of life. I'm also an ENTP. I'm the above. Which is why I pulled the kids out of a classical school they loved and were doing well at. I just couldn't handle the pressure. I went to the doctor for a bacterial infection and walked out with blood pressure meds. It was 158/116 lying down. The schedule was shortening my life. Since they've been home I've been able to cut my meds in half and am seriously thinking about discontinuing them.
Barb_
INTJ......wow, a lot of people on this board just like me.....shocker! :) It's funny, we've done this about every year or two since the early days of the boards. There was a woman by the name of....Piper, I think?...that was certified to test for Meyers Briggs types back about 8 years ago who first brought it to the boards. I digress...it's my P. There is always a preponderance of female INTJs on this board. Someone should do a study on it. Where is Piper?

SnowWhite
Mine has changed! I was ISTJ for years but our huge shift in religion and community over the past year has moved me to INFJ. The N is only a slight preference though.

abacus2
Another INTJ here. I think I am least extreme on the I to E scale if I'm remembering correctly.
Chelli
E (89%) N (50%) F (25%) P (11%) I'm just a tad extroverted. Really. Just a little bit. :D So of course I married an introvert. :001_smile:
PeacefulChaos
I'm INTJ (the last two are more distinctive, whatever that means? Idk, this type of personality test thing makes no sense to me.) Where is the other thread? I've been away this weekend and now I can't find it. IsabelC
INTP here, bordering on INFP, last time I checked (which would be some years ago, but I don't expect it changes much?) Not surprised to see a certain slant to the poll, given that we're hardly a representative sample of the population at large.

pfamilygal
ENFJ (J was only slight, the others were moderate). I think I really am an extrovert, but having six kids had made me value alone time because I rarely get it.
ShannonS
Solid INTP, but personality is such a nebulous concept. I do not read too much into this test. Edited September 17, 2012 by ShannonS

Laura Corin
INTJ You have strong preference of Introversion over Extraversion (89%) You have moderate preference of Intuition over Sensing (25%) You have distinctive preference of Thinking over Feeling (75%) You have strong preference of Judging over Perceiving (89%) Laura

Pawz4me
INTJ I mucked up the poll -- I voted too quickly and didn't realize we were supposed to vote for all four and not just the strongest (which for me is 89% introvert). So there should be one more vote for intuition, thinking and judging.

KidsHappen
INFP - 100% I - J&P very close with aspect regarding organization more J and ones regarding decisions more P. The other three adults in the house are INTPs. We all get along fine but the youngest two are E and that's hard.
Bluegoat
I didn't do that test, but I've done Myers-Briggs tests lots of times before. I always test INTP, though I am somewhat less extreme over time. Apparently that is considered a good thing, it means I am developing my less-preferred functions.
