Night Elf Posted January 10, 2018 Share Posted January 10, 2018 Today is my 50th birthday. I wondered if I'd feel like crying like I did on my 25th birthday when I was a quarter of a century old. But surprisingly I'm taking this quite well. I feel I'm in a good place in my life. There are a few balls in the air that are wobbly but I'm working on them. I had a dinner date last night with DH. We dressed up which felt good. I'm going to my mom's on Saturday for pizza and cake. DH promised me a full body massage as a gift. My brother died just short of his 50th birthday, so I have vowed to never be sad about a birthday. It's a blessing to grow old. Sorry to be a downer, but him turning 50 is something I would loved to haave happened.
