Plaid Dad needs our prayers and good thoughts!

Recommended Posts

This bit of news came to me from a mutual friend. Just wanted you all to know.

Drew [Plaid Dad] and J [his daughter] were rear ended on the highway this morning. Their car may have been totalled, but no one is injured. They're pretty shook up. Anne [Drew's wife] is asking for prayer and positive thoughts.

Sending you comfort and peace, Plaid Family, and am glad to know you are all okay.

Doran, please express to Drew that he and his dd need to be seen by a doctor within the first 24 hours of the accident. They may not feel injured now, but sometimes injuries aren't felt until later. For the other person's insurance to pay for any medical bills, they'll need to have been examined.

Sorry they were in an accident. Being rearended is scary!

:iagree: Good advice.

Please send Drew and his family all my best wishes. Being in an accident is quite a shock.

Drew and family, I'm so sorry about the accident. It's a very frightening thing. I am thankful that it was not worse, and I will pray that you are feeling better soon. Even though there may be no outward signs I am sure that you are feeling a lot of pain from the jolt. I will also pray that the insurance company deals with you quickly and fairly.

My thoughts are with Drew and his family today. I'm so glad to hear that no one was injured. I'm hoping everything turns out okay. We were in a car accident (not our fault) last fall, and I know that it can be emotionally taxing dealing with the shock and trying to sort out the cost involved with the insurance company.

:iagree: I'll third this advice. :grouphug: for Drew, J, and Anne. I'm glad everyone is ok.

This is Drew's wife, Anne. Thank you all SO much for all the prayers and good thoughts. He and the kiddo ended up renting a car and going to school today, just to have some normalcy, and they're doing fine, all things considered. We have alerted the insurance people and they're going to make their decision at some unknown time, so I'd appreciate your P&PT for that whole process as well!

Luckily we have one friend who's a car expert, one who used to be a state cop, and one who just had her own car totaled, so we have lots of good people to lean on and give advice. Also luckily, we haven't had any expensive maintenance done on the car recently. :) And best of all, my family is fine and not injured.

Thanks again -

Anne

This is such a relief! Still a pain, but it could have been so much worse. Thank you so much for the update!
