Partially dipped pretzel sticks? I'm not sure how big your jar is, but you could drizzle just a bit of chocolate on some pretzels, just to make them look festive. Chex mix bars? Is that a thing? Here's another one...I know these look like they have a lot of chocolate on them, but that's something you can control. (or maybe it isn't...:tongue_smilie:)

:lol: Sorry, but this made me giggle. I'm constantly telling my DD10 to stop flinging her purse around her head on the way into church. I ask her if she's ever seen a grown woman doing it and the visual always makes me laugh. :D In all seriousness, the corn-dogging sounds so humiliating. I would hate for any of my kids to experience it.

It's happened to me TWICE! What a mess! It breaks into a million beads and they go everywhere in the oven, along with the food...:glare: Once was a yummy squash casserole that I was so excited about (and not cheap to make...) The other was chicken breasts. I always set the dish on the stove while the oven is preheating, so it's not like it's a huge temp change when it goes in. So, I'm not sure why it happened.

My dd10 loves her dolls. She and my dd13 play doll school. I have the American Girl Curriculum and although I never got around to doing it all the way through, it has some great ideas. We have dabbled with it over the years. There are units out there for some of the newer dolls, as well. We have all of the Welcome to ______'s World books that my dd10 likes to look at before she goes to sleep. Embrace it! Right now we are all about the horses. The dolls sit on them during their "classes". :D
