MeaganS
My Lydia's name is Lydia Rose, so I'm partial. :) ETA, when we were looking for a middle name for our youngest, someone on here suggested Faire, which I loved, but didn't end up going with because of hubby. Lady Florida.
I really like Lydia Grace. Grace was the first name that popped into my mind, when I read the thread title. Jane was second. Those two came to mind before reading any responses. Then I saw that someone suggested Rose, and thought that one sounds good too.

ChandlerMom
Since Lydia is an uncommon name with few diminutives, how about a more flexible/classic/common middle name with more options? Katherine Alexandra Cassandra Elizabeth Each of which has about 7 variants they could choose from as nicknames, etc, when they go thru that "I hate my name" phase or just want that special name with close friends. :D

deannajo
My youngest is Lydia Anne - but one of my middle daughter's name is Meredith Rose :001_smile: and I think Rose would work with Lydia nicely! I like both of them - honestly, we picked Lydia's middle name because she told us what it was - we didn't have a name at all for her, and soon after she was born, I was gazing at her and I asked, "What is your name little one?" and right then she made a sound that sounded just like "Anne" - so we had to incorporate it  but I think its lovely and works well with Lydia. cindergretta
I have nothing of value to add to this thread except my dear grandmother, (passed away 10 years ago) was named Lydia. I miss her. And my youngest sweetie-pie has Lydia for a middle name after my grandmother. You have chosen (IMO) a lovely name for your baby. :grouphug:
