My Dad passed away last night.

I just passed by the other similar thread this a.m. and thought, "I'm tired of loss, tired of sympathy and sympathizing." My sister called an hour later to let me know that my Dad had died of a blood clot at 3 a.m.

My father died in December of last year, and I understand what you mean about being tired of sympathy, sympathizing, loss. It's really exhausting. I remember when he was sick telling my father that I felt physically the way you would feel flying back and forward to Australia every day, day after day. Just exhausted.
