TN Mama
We have a dusting on the deck and snow(ish) is falling. They predicted 1-3 inches, which then turned into less than an inch... I'll settle for it just falling from the sky on Christmas. Beautiful! Merry Christmas, y'all!
littlebug42
Yes, we did get a white Christmas this year. My kids are thrilled.
Heather in AL
This is my 25th Christmas here and my first White Christmas! Three inches and counting... the best snowfall (literally in terms of amount and figuratively in terms of a White Christmas) I've had in 12 years! :D Merry Christmas everyone! Jen in PA
We got an inch overnight, plus already had a bit on the ground. It's very pretty, and no one has driven down the road yet today, so it still looks gorgeous.

Rose in BC
We did but it would be unusual not to have snow on the ground her in northern British Columbia. We have a few feet on the ground outside. Last night it snowed off and on. Quite lovely.

NCMom
Here in the foothills it is POURING snow. It snowed earlier and sleeted a little too. Unfortunately, it was almost 60 here yesterday and so it isn't sticking much. :D Georgia
kokotg
It's really coming down here (North of Atlanta) and sticking! (not to the roads yet, but my yard is white). I just checked the local paper, and they said the last time it snowed for Christmas was 128 years ago. Now I just wish I were planning to stay home today so I could relax and enjoy it instead of fretting about whether it's safe to drive and visit people. LizzyBee
We did in North Carolina!! WOOHOO!!! It's beautiful!! It's not here yet in the Triangle, but we're supposed to get 3-6 inches by tomorrow night.
AlmiraGulch
In Atlanta, GA - the Deep South - and it is SNOWING on Christmas!!!! What a beautiful and peaceful sight. Merry Christmas, everyone!! :001_smile: I'm also OTP in Atlanta (Kennesaw) and it's beautiful! (p.s. Don't tell anyone I said that. I'm the biggest complainer about snow/cold/winter weather in general in the world, and I'd never live it down). Also, I read that this it has only ever snowed on Christmas day in Atlanta twice since they started recording weather...1891 and 1892. :D ETA: Oops! I just saw that kokotg just posted darn near the same thing. It helps if I read all the posts before I reply. hsmamainva
The snow just started sticking here although we've had flurries off and on all day (we're outside of Fredericksburg, Virginia). Just checked our local weather and we're supposed to get 6-10 inches by Monday morning! Yikes!
Mommy22alyns
We had a really nice one at MIL's in southern KY, and when we came back home it was more like a dusting. Still white though!
Brigitte
Woke to a winter wonderland this morning. There is not a lot of snow, just enough to make it all pretty. mcconnellboys
We are having the snowiest December in recorded history in Kentucky. It's not that much snow in terms of inches, it has just been constant since Thanksgiving and we generally don't even have snow in December.... We also don't generally have a month of temps at or below freezing as we've had this year, which is why the snow has lingered....

KarenNC
This evening, yes. We did have some this morning about an hour north (where we were for Christmas brunch with family), but not here until this evening. It's still exciting, as the last actual accumulation of snow on Christmas day here was in 1947 and before that it was 1880, per the paper. DaffodilDreams
We did have snow, but it didn't stick. It was still a beautiful and magical thing to have on Christmas day. NCMom
Woke up this morning and it is STILL snowing!! It started sticking pretty good around 2pm yesterday and we are now officially snowed in. This is probably the largest accumulation we have had in the 6 years we have lived here. And in December, no less. White Christmas indeed... ;) Georgia
BikeBookBread
We get a white Day-After-Christmas. But as was pointed out to me a couple of days ago, the whole 12 Days of Christmas is in play, so really, yes, we are getting a White 2nd Day of Christmas! :) If we were British, I could say it was a White Boxing Day, too I suppose. :)
susankenny
We woke up to 5 inches of beautiful SNOW!! It's awesome. Tammyla
Oh yes, but we had a blizzard last week and plenty of snow left over...but it did snow another 9' on Christmas Eve. mazakaal
We did in England! It was my kids' first white Christmas ever. It snowed last Saturday and in the middle of the week, so it's been white and beautiful all week. Unfortunately, we live on a little country road that doesn't get sanded, so I've been afraid to drive all week. Dh is brave, though, and has done all the errands.
