  1. My son is currently taking Latin online through The Classical Learning Resource Center - http://clrchomeschool.com/. It has been wonderful!!
  2. Here is a chart with the recommended progression - http://www.excellenceinwriting.com/sicc-progression
  3. My son will be in the second grade next year. He easily completed SSL A last year, but is definitely not ready for LFC A. I was hoping that SSL B would be out by now, but it is not expected until the end of the year. Does anyone have a recommendation for what we could use for this upcoming year? I would prefer a program that utilizes classical pronunciation. Thanks! Krista
  4. Are you finding it difficult to do both levels? Do they mesh pretty well from a weekly standpoint? I don't mind spending the money for both levels, provided they will be basically studying the same overall topics each week. Thanks to everyone for your replies - greatly appreciated!
  5. Both of my boys love science. I would like to combine them for chemistry next year. I have been looking at RS4K Chemistry Level 1. I think it would be perfect for my older son. Has anyone else used this with a tag-along 2nd grader? Any other curriculum recommendations? Thanks, Krista
  6. I am also going to be using MCT Island with my rising second grader. I love this program (my oldest ds will be using Voyage next year). Edited to add, he will also be using WWE2 and AAS 2, along with the Island level. Krista

  8. I still have not made a decision regarding science next year - grrrrrrrr Thanks-Krista
  9. Thanks for posting - mine just arrived!
  10. This is the book that my programming, all-around tech guru dh had me by for my son. Krista
  11. I am too! Many of my friends are YE, and they know I am OE, but do not have a problem with me :tongue_smilie:. I am usually asked to teach science when we participate in group co-ops, so I guess they don't have a problem with it. Honestly, it just really never comes up. Krista
  12. Just wondering if anyone has used both of these, and which of the two you preferred? Thanks, Krista
