They put a breathing tube in, but they couldn't sedate her enough to not be aware, because when they tried to, her blood pressure got too low. She was NOT happy about being put on the breathing machine. She couldn't talk, but she wrote. We all got to say goodbye. Then they took the breathing tube out. They don't know how long she'll make it on her own, but it's been made clear they are not to resuccitate her. Dh is struggling. The kids are struggling. I've been awake for almost 24 hours, and I can't fall asleep. And, fil's mother is in another hospital, across town, and expected to pass away this week. Fil, clearly, is NOT doing well. I'm still grieving the loss of my mom, so I could really feel your prayer request. I then opened Bible Gateway to read the verse of the day. Under the verse was a link to listen to the chapter and it was so very perfect. If you have time, click the link that says Listen to this chapter after the verse of the day.
