Giant Bra (in our neighbor's yard)

That seems pretty dumb to me all the way around.  I think it backfires in a way.  I mean, really, yes women have breasts. whoop de doo.  This is a sort of anti feminist approach to supporting a woman for president IMO.

I don't think it's effective either. I mean, really? This is what makes the candidate a good choice in their opinion? Gives a whole 'nuther meaning to the notion of "support," I guess.

I don't think the sign has much, if anything, to do with the fact that Hillary is female.  I think an "I support Donald" athletic supporter would convey the same pun.

Hah.  I thought this was going to be a thread about one of those breast cancer fundraisers starting early...  I mean if they already plant flocks of plastic flamingos in yards to raise money for breast cancer research, why not replace them with giant pink bras instead?

This is better.  And I liked the video, Amy.

It might be implying that she is a big boob.

Did we watch the same video? They're not trying to convince anyone of anything, change anyone's minds, or imply anything. They just wanted to show their support in a fun light-hearted way. I'm glad their neighbors see the humor in it.

And Amy, you look way better than I would if I had been caught with no makeup and unbrushed hair. :)

What some view as fun and light-hearted, others can just as legitimately view as tacky. Same as with many other things. Glad you enjoyed it.

Am I the only one wondering if we are going to see a similar "support" sign for the male candidate? Life size jock straps anyone?

Ha!

That is exactly what popped into my head.  A giant red, white and blue jock strap in the middle of someone's yard.

I doubt a large bra is going to change things one way or another.

And US people PLEASE vote. The rest of the world doesn't get a voice but we do suffer the consequences. Vote according to your own conscience but please don't just opt out.

Calvin has voted - he worked out how to do it, based on his father's last residence in California.
