I've been wearing Gloria Vanderbilt from Kohl's lately. They are comfortable.

When I was in high school Gloria Vanderbilt was expensive and I couldn't wear them anyway. You had to have curves.

Dd wears them--a much smaller size than me. She has curves because she has a completely different body type than me. I have curves because I am overweight.

Firmly in the category of Stuff Only Middle-Agers Say, I love Jag Pull-On jeans. They do not have buttons or zippers, but instead have a band not that different from a maternity band at the top. In all other respects, the jeans look just like any other fashinable jeans, and you can choose a leg cut and wash/color that you wish. Amazon has heaps of them.

I only buy jeans from Old Navy. It used to be PacSun but they are no longer here. Ohhh I miss those jeans.

Anyway, I loathe skinny jeans and Old Navy is pretty much the only place around here that don't exclusively sell skinnys. Plus, their jeans are cute and affordable.

THIS! I love these jeans and so do about 5 of my friends that I've told about them. They're great!

Not Your Daughter's Jeans.

They are pricey in my book (though not designer type pricey), but they last forever.

I try to get them at the Nordstrom Rack to economize.

I love NYDJs, too. I generally get the 'Barbara' in black and boot cut. Just a touch of stretch to keep them comfy.

J Crew Matchstick, and Kut From the Kloth (Cloth? Can't remember). You do not have to be stick-figure thin to wear Matchstick jeans (I am a size 10 with "muscular" thighs), I found to my surprise. It is a nice, straight leg, and my legs do not look like sausages in them.

Believe it or not, I've had good luck with Lands End. I tried them out of desperation, but was pleasantly surprised.  I am a petite and curvy, my waist is 10 inches smaller than my hips.  They make several styles so you can find the ones you like. Lands End makes 2 lengths of petite jeans, one a standard petite length that looks good with a heel, and an even shorter length that means I can actually wear flats!  I've never worn flats without my jeans pooling around my ankles, lol.

But, more importantly, the cut is good and the fit is exactly what they say it will be.  And I have owned them for over a year and they are not faded and they look great.

My one complaint, and it is one I have with almost all jeans, is that after a day of wear they are looser and a bit bagged out.  But, I haven't found a pair that really keep their shape beyond that, so it's more of a universal complaint.

I wear boyfriend jeans from a cheap teenagers' store called New Look.  They aren't stretchy, so don't highlight my tummy, but they also have a fair bit of leeway in that area.  They don't seem to stock them any more, so I'm going to have to branch out.

Another fan of Lee Riders mid-rise, long, either boot cut or straight leg. I need jeans that come up to just below my bellybutton and these do. (If the waistband hits right at my bellybutton I get a stomachache.)

Target curvy fit bootcut. The only jeans I have ever found that actually fit me and look good.

I'm wearing these right now. The universe has decreed that I can only ever own ONE pair of comfortable, perfect-fitting jeans at a time. What brand that is changes over time. Right now, it's the curvy Target jeans.

I like Eddie Bauer jeans in the short length. I usually get them at the outlet store but have ordered one pair online which I can do since I know my size. They have a bit of stretch to them so a size smaller than I wear in their khakis is right for me--6 short. Believe me, I'm not a 6 in anything else! I think of myself as a 10 but it seems everyone has to mess with their sizing these days.

I'm intrigued by the Jag jeans. They look like the jeans I get for my toddler at Gymboree! How is the sizing?

Looking at their size chart, I was having trouble because my hips were two sizes smaller than my waist. I chatted with a rep at zappos and she recommended going by my waist but I was afraid they would be too big all over and sag. I ordered a couple sizes and sent back what didn't fit.

I ended up fitting best in the size that that, according to their chart, matched my hip measurement. I have lost some weight since buying and they stay up well enough. The dark blue ones had a strong odor but it went away after time/washing.

Jag Pull-On jeans are also my favorites.  I had never heard of them until I heard Quill rave about them on here awhile ago.  Since then, I've purchased three pairs, and they are by far my favorite and most comfy jeans!

:) They are my every-day jeans. I have a few pair and wear them all the time.
