Friends, I desperately need your prayers

Recommended Posts

I am a mess. I am struggling as a mom, a wife, a friend, a Christian. I feel like I'm failing at it all. My faith is very strong, but it's hard to hold on to it when I'm feeling hopeless every single day. I just need prayers. Thank you.

Mine are almost the exact same ages. We all need to be done with school for the year. We are doing good. You are doing good. I know where you are coming from. I just hit bottom a few days ago. Take time off school. enjoy your girls. This is what I had to do and it helped. I will intercede for you.

:grouphug: I am having a hard time right now. I have never been much of a satan is battling person. But, honestly I feel like I am in a battle right now and I am so not going to let him win.

I am lifting you up sweet sister. Do you have anyone you can talk with irl?

:grouphug: Don't buy into the idea that you are a failure. Everyone makes mistakes and has a hard time (and has hormones :glare: on top of that if you are a woman) but you are not "a failure". Picture yourself in the Savior's eyes - would He ever tell you that you had failed? I don't think so. He will tell you He loves you and He will help you and you are valuable and needed. I am pretty sure you have family and friends that will say the same thing. Believe them, not the negative voice.

And then I would say get some sleep and some sunshine and do something that makes you happy. (And maybe see your doctor to look for a medical problem if you can't shake this...) I think we have all been there.

Prayers for peace for you and that your family will be able to do and say things that will help you feel whole again.

Nakia, I am praying for you! :Angel_anim:Remember, sweet child of God, that those thoughts of failure and being hopeless are NOT from the One who truly loves you! You are worth everything because Christ gave everything for YOU! He holds you in His arms, dear sister, and wraps you in His love. And when you are ready to try walking on shaky legs of confidence again, He will be there to let you lean on Him.

It's okay to feel what you are feeling, really! But I know it's no fun so I will praying that you see the rays of sunshine and SONshine that you need to see to buoy you up and help you through this time. :grouphug:

What she said! Nakia, you are a beautiful person, so loving and giving, genuine and kind. You are SO NOT a failure! Hang in there darling. Though sorrow may endure for a night, joy comes in the morning. Praying for you sister! :grouphug::grouphug::grouphug:

:grouphug: Praying.. You've always been a gracious voice here.

If I may quote Numbers 6:24-26:

May the Lord bless you and keep you.

May the Lord make his face to shine upon you, and be gracious to you.

May the Lord lift up his countenance upon you, and give you peace.
