Tsuga
Half of the family loves it. The other half can't wrap our heads around fruit breads.
Catwoman
I wanted to vote for the puppies, but I love raisin bread too much not to give it credit where credit is due. :)
SparklyUnicorn
Well sure I love it, but I don't really eat bread anymore.

KathyBC
I heart raisin bread. Too much of any dried fruit does not love me back... I try to be a little considerate and eat it very infrequently.
umsami
I love cinnamon raisin bread toasted with butter. Not sure I'd like it any other way, though. Maybe French toast?
Kassia
Love, love, love it. Hardly ever eat it because I can't stop once I start. We used to bring a loaf on car trips and eat it plain for snacks. Yum!
Ausmumof3
I bored puppies because while I enjoy raisin bread I prefer puppies. They don't give me heartburn ...
Pawz4me
Puppies. I can take raisin bread or leave it, but mostly I'd only take it if it were right in front of me. It's one of those foods that I can't say ever just pops in my mind and I think "Man, I need me some of that. Now."
OneStepAtATime
I love Raisin Bread. Depends on the raisin bread, though. They are not all created equal. LOL (Says a little girl in a big girl's body and with a wistful tone as she fondly remembers the freshly baked homemade tasting raisin bread her mother would buy her from a grocery store chain that no longer exists...) OneStepAtATime
And for the record, even though I like a few raisin breads quite a lot, no one else in my immediate family will eat it. So I hardly ever buy it.

Tap
Didn't vote. Take it or leave it here. I maybe buy a loaf once a year. It is something I buy for variety in a rotation of snack breads like english muffins/bagels,croissants/muffins/etc. I but one item a week, so every once in a while it might be a cinnamon raisin bread, but we don't really love it. About the only thing I use them in is Morning Glory muffins and then I aim on the light side of the measuring cup.
mamaraby
Big puffy, sparkly heart adore raising bread. It can be hard to find vegan so having some requires I make my own and consequently I rarely eat it. Right up there is my memory of the cinnamon raisin biscuits from Hardees. I hated them as a kid, but for the last year or so I’ve wanted one which will, again, require I make it. I just want to buy it at a store and have it for breakfast. Tomorrow would work.
Frances
Whether bread or bagels, I just pick the raisins out and proceed as usual. I like raisins alone, but not in most things except oatmeal raisin cookies.
unsinkable
Y'all make me laugh! Thank you! Special love to the raisin bread dislikers (bc I always feel for the underdogs) and the puppy voters. But my girls! 75% for RAISIN BREAD! I wouldn't have guessed that high! umsami
Raisin bread toast with peanut butter is amazing. mmmm! My Dad used to make this when we had raisin bread. It was always the Pepperidge Farm swirled kind, and then Skippy or Jif peanut butter. He was so bummed when my Mom bought the natural kind one time that had oil separated.

But my girls! 75% for RAISIN BREAD! I wouldn't have guessed that high! I'm thinking there has to be some sort of Russian interference in your poll results because I can't fathom another reason why the results are in favor of that bread abomination. Why ruin a perfectly good loaf of bread with raisins? ;)
Seeking Squirrels
I voted love, but it does depend on the brand. I don't like too many raisins in it. And it must be cinnamon raisin bread and toasted with butter.
dsmith
Well, I do love raisin bread, but it is permanently banned from the house. My father-in-law can't be trusted with anything that can harm dogs. Grape jelly is also banned. That's why I voted puppies.
4Kiddos
I make it myself and it is wonderful toasted with butter. Edited March 7, 2018 by 4Kiddos

foxbridgeacademy
Love fruit breads, I even like my mom's fruit cake, which is very different from the stuff you buy in stores at Christmas time. DH and the kids think it's gross. Aldi's has Monkey bread and Apple Fritter loafs (both have raisins) and it's all I can do to not go buy more. unsinkable
You have my sympathies :P ;) . Hahaha...you should have seen me put the raisin bread in my cart, then reach out towards the Cinnamon Raisin English Muffins. Then pull my hand back. Reach out. Pull back. Reach out. Grab the original flavor English muffins. Hoped no one saw me.
Miss Tick
I just buy it for the cinnamon swirl. I thought the raisins were there to provide a thin veneer of nutritional value.
Rockhopper
I buy it for.... chicken salad sandwiches. SOOO good! Other than that, I'm somewhat 'ennh' about raisin bread, although I don't mind it as French toast or even toasted with apple butter. But that's just if there's leftovers from chicken salad. Elizabeth86
We made a loaf from the recipe book that came with my bread machine and it was fabulous, but I would never buy it from a store.
Paige
Raisins don't belong in baked goods. They are only tolerable if coated in chocolate or yogurt by themselves where no one is at risk of being surprised. Oatmeal raisin cookies? Ugh. Just make oatmeal cookies. And why do they sometimes look too much like chocolate chip cookies?
