FaithManor
Today I sent a text reminder from my tablet about the rocket team presentation with NASA and stated that we would be taking the team out for ice cream after to "celebrate" except that autocorrect, obviously written by deviants, changed it to "celibate" and I sent the text without noticing it. Thank goodness for 4H moms with a sense of humor!
Spryte
That's a good one! I once sent a text invite to very close family friends, to come over and hang out. The kids would play, the mom and I would work on some project we were doing. I don't remember what I tried to say about the dads, but basically we invited him over to hang out with DH and "lick themselves"! :svengo: Edited March 20, 2017 by Spryte

Anne in CA
Auto correct says "you disgust me" every time I put "you" in a text. The first time it REALLY upset my dd (then 15) I can't catch it, it puts it in after I hit send. I just have to remember not to use the word "you".

Butter
Back when I homeschooled, autocorrect would always change "homeschooling" to "homehooking", which always made me giggle. I've had that happen. Lanny
OP thanks for the laugh. Usually, my problems with Auto Correct are that I have a word that is spelled correctly, but, I used the wrong word. Their VS there. During the past few days, I sent a WhatsApp message to one of the 3 WhatsApp Groups our HOA has. (Administrator, Neighbors and Zumba). Well,my phone speaks English and I was writing in Spanglish. The Auto Correct corrected a word I had written in Spanish, and replaced it with an English language word. I did not realize that, before I sent the message. In your case, it is good that your group has a collective sense of humor.

Every freaking time. We finally just started calling her Sudan in all of our texts and it's become the family inside joke. Hey Sudan! I guess we should be grateful it was Sudan and not Satan. Just Kate
Oh man... My kids are asking what's so funny! Think I got my laughs for the day! I have had a few that I can't remember. I did accidentally send this 👺 Emoji to someone once (red faced angry guy with big nose for those not on iPhone). This made me remember...when Facebook messenger first came out with the giant emojis you could send, I made a mistake. A friend of a friend was diagnosed with cancer. We weren't really friends in real life, but she was a Facebook friend. I went into my messenger app to send her a quick message and while I was there, I noticed something new. I clicked On the emojis out of curiosity, having no idea that by clicking I was actually sending. Of course, the one I clicked on was the giant, green puking emoji!!! I was horrified. I quickly typed up a message explaining what I did. It was so embarrassing. Thankfully, she has a great sense of humor and she told our mutual friend that it gave her a chuckle. FaithManor
Sam, the payload specialist of our rocket team informed me that Google Docs wants to change fluker (fluker gel is a vitamin hello for insects which the team uses as the water source for their insect experiment) into f@cker gel!!! I was mortified at the thought that if not caught before sending their documents to NASA this is what they would read. Thankfully dear Sam made a habit of reading over the payload design section numerous times before uploading so disaster was averted! Who programs an autocorrect for software routinely used by businesses to change anything to f@cker???? Should that even be in the dictionary of said software? Me thinks some computer programmers have too much fun at our expense!
