Susan in TN Posted February 12, 2015 Share Posted February 12, 2015 Dh got a short email from his boss last night requesting that everyone please attend a meeting at 8:30 this morning to "discuss our business". To my knowledge, this has never happened before without any warning, even when they were being purchased by other corporations. (Prayers welcome too.) Update: Thank you, everyone. Just got off the phone with dh - the news is not as bad as I feared. The company's largest customer has filed for bankruptcy (reorganization) - so not good news, but it could've been worse. Over the past few years I have been gradually tightening our belts, and a little more won't kill us. A few months ago dh's boss told him that his (the boss') primary goal is to keep as many people working for as long as possible. Ugh. That's where my fear was coming from.
