I talk to the trees
Not sure what the temperature is right now, but they're calling for a high today of 24, with wind chills in the low teens. And snow. More snow. :willy_nilly: But reading everyone's single-digit temps makes me feel all warm and cozy!
elegantlion
Current temp 12, feels like 1. I hate winter.

NavyMommy
It's about 40 here and that should be the high for today. I know it's not that cold, but this is the first winter since we moved from FL and man we are all freezing!!
GailV
I think it's 14F here in St. Louis. I hope it's cold enough long enough to kill some insects and other pests.

thescrappyhomeschooler
I'm in North East PA and it's 7* right now. I had planned on a walk this morning, but changed my mind. Where are you and what's the temperature? When I was walking regularly, I had 2 criteria- it had to be over 20F, and I had to be able to walk somewhere that had been plowed. Even if I wanted to walk today, it would be pretty difficult and slippery with all the snow and ice.
woolybear
I'm in western Ct. It's 16 with a windchill of 8. Brr. I'm waiting for the woodstoves to get the house warmed up.

Annie G
It's up to a balmy 8 degrees. Ugh I hate winter. The high should get to 22. I can't whine too much- although there is plenty of snow on the ground, there's no new accumulation coming soon.
FaithManor
Lower Pennisula of Michigan - 17 degrees and some wind. The wind chill is the hard part because the temperature we "feel" is actually 7 degrees. It is snowing lightly and pretty, but the boys are opting to stay inside due to the bite in the wind. If it were still outside, I think they'd venture out. However, my dear niece is at the ER right now getting her wrist x-rayed after an unfortunate snowboard experience. This has put a damper on the boys most recent enthusiasm for winter sports! Faith

swainsonshawk
Only 1 degree here. Our gas pipe broke outside our house last night necessitating an emergency call to the gas company. amo_mea_filiis.
I think i just want to live in an RV or on a boat. We can travel to the temperature we're in the mood for. A boat would be nice.
Dandelion
18* . 6* when you factor in windchill. I'm not a "winter person" for sure. But at least we have sun and blue skies. The view of Pikes Peak is gorgeous this morning. :-)
Lady Florida.
Um, dare I step in here? It's currently 71, and we're expecting a high of 78 today. Later this week a cold front will move in and we're expecting highs only in the upper 60's to around 70. Nighttime temps will be in the 50's. I know there are plenty of people who say they like cold weather, but I'm not one of them.
