Guest Dulcimeramy
glee. This happened on Tuesday, but I didn't check his folder until tonight. I pulled the paper out, began to check it over from top to bottom, noticed how his spelling in #11, and began to laugh until I cried. I couldn't even read the rest of it until I caught my breath, but of course, it only got worse. (What he'd done: Stolen my only scissors that still cut fabric, and used them on cardboard. He knows the rules. This is not a new concept, but he couldn't find all the scissors he's ruined on cardboard already so he took them. Also, he swiped my Sharpie.) After some...discussion...I said, "Write 25 times, 'I will not take Mama's school supplies without permission.'" #1-10 were written while I was in the room. #11-17 were written while I was NOT in the room... #18-25 were written when I came back into the room. 1. The Girls' Mom
That is hilarious! I so sympathize on the scissors. I have several pair, now squirreled away in my desk drawer, that have MOM scrawled across the handles in big letters...so at least when they purloin them they have a constant reminder of whose scissors they are snitching.
