My dd is getting married Saturday!

My To Do List is printed on my blog today.

What chaos.

What joy!

What sadness!

Sigh.

She still has her 4.0 at college and will finish her last semester this fall.

We enter into a new part of family life this week.

I think I'll laugh and cry at the same time.

Congratulations!

Although my children are younger, I used to read your posts all the time and went often to your blog.

We live in Florida so I would show the boys the pictures of your place.

Thanks for sharing your joy!

Rejoicing with you.

Blessings,

Maury:party:

I'm sending you a case of vitual Kleenex--I stocked up last summer, and I have a few left. :)

Congrats to you and dd--what a joyous occasion! I've asked the Father for his blessing on you and the entire family today and tomorrow. May His loving kindness be very evident throughout this special weekend and during the years to come in their marriage.

Sending hugs!

Awwww, Jean! I know exactly how you feel. My firstborn got married in January, and now she lives across town, is working fulltime, and we rarely see her, except at church on Sundays. She's happy and busy (although right now she has a summer cold!).

CONGRATS! Enjoy the day. I hope you get to be "Mother of the Bride" in exactly the way you wish tomorrow. I'll be praying for you all.

Congrats Jean! I think our kids have grown up "together," and so have we. My oldest dd got married 2 years ago. Oh, where did the time go???

Enjoy every minute and love your son in law as your own. Saturday starts another part of the journey. I blogged a bit about it on my blog. My beautiful daughter is so missed around here...and for the first year or so, she was so busy fitting herself into all her new roles and I was busy with my herd of kiddles. These past few weekd we have begun once again to connect and make lots of time for eachother...as 2 women and as Mommy and daughter once again.

Enjoy your new role and the journey.

Congrats to you and her!

The wedding went beautifully. I've slept through a good chunk of this week--I didn't know how tired I was!

So now they are off on the honeymoon, and I'm trying to get my life back into a routine.

Thanks for all the well-wishing. You have all been a part of my homeschool journey.

Blessings to you all!

Jean

You know, it's fun keeping track of even our adult children. I can remember following Janie's story as her dd enlisted, was deployed and then on her way home, bumped into her mom at a restaurant. Now I enjoy popping over to Janie's school site to get some good ideas.

Many blessings for your dd and you!

Lisa

Congratulations! You have finished the race with this one and have earned the blue ribbon from me and the others on this board who have read your wisdom for years.

I love your blog, too!

Only (very late) last night one of your posts from last year saved me from certain disaster as I desperately try to piece together the mess that became my oldest's 9th grade year! Thank you for sharing your life-school here with us.

May God bless you and your DD as she starts her own journey!
