creekland
Fall in PA, NY, VA, FL, and RI (5 places I've lived). While we know what Autumn is, I've never been in a place where it's the dominant word used to describe the season. (And I realize there are other areas in the above states than exactly where I lived.)

OleanderRain
I really try to say autumn because I like the way it sounds, but in Maryland I hear most people say fall, and my family says fall, so I tend to use fall the most. When talking to my kids, especially, I make a real effort to say autumn.
MomOfOneFunOne
I'm from the South and naturally say fall. However, absurdly, I think that the word autumn is a very pretty word and my daughter and I are trying to make ourselves say autumn instead of fall. Sometimes it fits and sometimes it just feels unnatural. Still, we're working on it.

I don't think they have it there. :tongue_smilie: It's still 95 here and I'm way north of FL. I say fall. I never say autumn. I'm from NJ. It's looking like it's a British/Aussie thing to say autumn.
