Ann.without.an.e
I need basic t shirts but I don’t like the kohl’s type brands or target that are so short. I want something with a little length on it. Not heavy feeling either since I live in a hotter climate.
stephanier.1765
I'm wearing ones I buy at Walmart. I live in Florida so I like my t-shirts thin and the Walmart ones are definitely that. They are also long which is another thing I appreciate. And of course, they are very inexpensive. I do buy one size larger than I wear any where else. They've washed really well. 3
regentrude
Thriftstore. There are enough used T-shirts in the world to last all of us a lifetime. And you never know what you find. Once in a while, I splurge on a Life is Good one. Edited March 6, 2023 by regentrude 6
Corraleno
Lands End supima cotton tees. Not too fitted or too loose, just the right weight, huge choice of colors, you can always get them on sale for up to 40% off, and they last forever. Crew neck V-neck Edited March 6, 2023 by Corraleno links 5
Terabith
Not plain tshirts but I pretty much live in shirts from tee turtle. And some random theology nerd shirts. 2
TechWife
Lands End. Sometimes Talbots. 1

There’s a little Walmart neighborhood market and I go in there sometimes but never think to go in the full sized super Walmarts. I’ll check them out.
itsheresomewhere
Old navy has talls online. Kohls has some talls online. Duluth has the shirts that are longer. Some of my favorite ones are from Amazon ( free people tunics).
Katy
Mine are 90% a mix of Talbots or Land’s End, with a few from JJill or LLBean thrown in. I really like the elbow length one and stock up when they have colors I like
Tap
I like Eddie Bauer but they might be thicker than you want.
Bambam
I'm picky about material (usually only 100% cotton, NO polyester, some rayon or tencel is okay). So, my tees are from Life is Good (watch for sales) and LLBean (Pima Cotton) or Landsend (Supima cotton). I wish LL Bean had more sales!
popmom
Most of my t shirts are from fundraisers for various things, and almost all are Comfort Colors. I do not love them, but I wear them. They are too heavy for our humidity, and the necks stretch out. I'll be looking at some of these suggestions. 🙂 Edited March 7, 2023 by popmom
Selkie
Life is Good is my favorite brand for tees. If you order from their site, you can choose whether you want the lighter or heavier fabric.
Hilltopmom
Lands End come in talls for extra length.
mlktwins
Duluths. They have long tail shirts and are good quality.
LucyStoner
I’m plus size and *all torso* so getting longer shirts is a necessity as otherwise they become crop tops on me. Athleta, Land’s End and LL Bean are my go tos. I shop sales and can usually get them 40-60% off MSRP.

AmandaVT
I've been liking Duluth Trading Co. t-shirts recently. They are a nice weight, longer, and the neck isn't too constricting (I swear I must have been strangled in a prior life because I hate it when shirts are cut too close). https://www.duluthtrading.com/women/tops/t-shirts/
teachermom2834
My current basic tees are the Amazon brand. I think it is Amazon Essentials. Long enough, heavy enough for coverage without being too heavy.
Clarita
Most t-shirts I have come from volunteer stuff, summer camps, sporting events and the company my husband works for. It's kind of humorous because last week I left the house like a walking billboard for the company my husband works for (jacket, shirt, socks, water bottle, and bag) purely by accident. Yes all my friends made fun of me. 2
easypeasy
For solid-colored t-shirts that are on the thinner side, I just go to JoAnns (or is it Michael's? One carries Comfort Colors and the other carries Bella Canvas and I always get them mixed up) and buy BellaCanva blanks. I like the unisex style, not the ladycut. Tons of colors to choose from & cheap!! I usually knot them in the back and tuck it under. I also have a ton of Life is Good t's - I'm a sucker for their designs. They have a lighter weight t-shirt (not their standard shirt) on their website and those are an amazing fit, imho. Also have a lot of Comfort Colors blanks, but they're considerably thicker and boxier. Also love Eddie Bauer and LLBean, but those are what I would consider a thick tshirt.
elegantlion
I'm long waisted, so I tend to buy talls. I prefer 100% cotton. I tend to buy Old Navy talls - last year they had some thinner shirts - not as great quality, however. JCP - St John's Bay - these are a bit heavier, also buy talls. Life is Good tees are my favorite. My TJ Maxx sometimes has them. I also buy the lighter tees. Their tees are longer on me.
Pawz4me
39 minutes ago, elegantlion said: JCP - St John's Bay - these are a bit heavier, also buy talls I like the JCP St. John's Bay tees, too. I need petites and they can be hard to find (I assume talls are, too). The St. John's Bay are very inexpensive when they're on sale. I can't tell a ton of difference in quality or durability between them and LE or LL Bean, both of which I also buy. I actually prefer the SJB to LL Bean's supima tees. Those are a little too silky feeling for my liking. Something about the texture makes my skin crawl just a little bit, and they never seem to want to behave themselves w/o riding up. The SJB have a little more texture and tend to "stick" a little better to my pants.
Boymama5
I like Duluth’s and Lands End. Both have been a nice length, durable and good fit.
jrn
I live in T-shirts and get them from all over, many listed above. My new favorite is off Amazon - just a bit dressier than my usual graphic t. The length is perfect for me. Meriwether
I buy triblend t-shirts from Shirt Space. I put designs on some for the kids and get Dh's white undershirts while I'm ordering.
Longtime Lurker
I like Gap Factory's "Favorite T." They come in tall, but at 5'8" the regulars are long enough.
