Chrysalis Academy
At this point, we're not planning to formally outsource any of the core for-credit classes for 9th grade. Dd will do some BW classes as supplements to English and a Creative Writing elective. She does theater and horseback riding with outside instructors/coaches/directors. So at this point it's Math, English, History, Spanish, Health/PE, Science all with me.
Matryoshka
dd17 - Everything. Wilson Hill for math and CC everything else. dd15 - Almost everything. Doing History Lite at home with Spielvogel, other than that, CC, Wilson HIll, Derek Owens, Center for Lit. Next fall we will probably do just Lit at home; by next spring I'm hoping everything is outsourced. I sometimes wish I had the kinds of kids who enjoyed deep discussions on educational topics with me during high school, but mine really want to be taught by and accountable to someone else at this age. We do have some deep discussions, but not tied to school work. :)

Liza Q
Geometry (with Seton) and Biology (DIVE) are outsourced. I still make sure that he is on top of his assignments and Dad helps by talking through proofs and doing labs with my son. Spanish is partly outsourced - we do BTB Spanish together and he does Spanish Conversation at co-op. Debate at co-op is totally outsourced, but it is really an extra-curricular, so I don't know if it counts? We do History and English together - I like to set up these subjects myself! He did try a writing class with Time4writing, but he really did not care for it. He moans a lot but doesn't moan any less writing for someone else, so I am back to doing writing with him. And we are also doing Art History and reading through the Bible together. In the past we've outsourced German with Oklahoma State, Bio and Chem Labs at the local Christian School, Art at local colleges, Drama at co-op, and occasional writing classes with Writeathome and Writeguide.
Melissa B
We don't separate by grade, as I do our transcripts by subject. We outsource most things. I just finished dd16's high school plan today. She is starting at the local CC in August and will take 20-24 classes there. There isn't much flexibility as she wants an AA in Theater. She still needs: finish Technical Theater (at the local high school) finish Chinese class with CLRC Florida Virtual School Biology (already started) English (already started) Economics with me (not outsourced) Algebra I Geometry Modern Literature U.S. History U.S. Government Astronomy all have been started except Astronomy
BlsdMama
Almost everything for this kiddo - Architectural Plans and Specs (Comm. College), Commercial Construction (Comm. College), Comp II (Comm. College), Mock Trial - homeschool group. He's currently doing math at home, worldview, and assigned reading this year. Next year for high school? Everything for the senior and almost nothing for the freshman. But we live in a unique state - approved dual enrollment classes are covered by our state as is the online AP program for kiddos who old enough or have tested high enough. It is a huge perk and I'm grateful.

OnMyOwn
We are outsourcing a lot. With my 16 yo ds, I have found that once he started having outside teachers, he no longer was very responsive to anything I assigned to him, so I will not be trying to do anything more than math and continuing to assist him with his writing skills for the rest of high school. I will also try to get some good books into him this summer. DS Biology - local class World History - local class Omnibus - local class Spanish II - Online - Sr. Gamache Writing - Online - LTOW Algebra II - At home with me, Lial's PE - at home, but not getting done DD Omnibus - local class Progym - local class Spanish III - online, Ray Leven Latin II - online, Lone Pine Python Programming - online - FundaFunda Algebra II - at home, Saxon Spectrum Chemistry - at home, with me Big History Project - at home, with me I am really excited about doing chemistry and history with my dd. She was too busy to start those subjects earlier in the year. We just started both programs this week and will work on them through the summer. So far, so good.
