Prairie~Phlox Posted June 3, 2012 Share Posted June 3, 2012 I am 37 and athletic, yesterday morning I thought I was gonna pass out, my chest was tight and I threw up. Dh brought me to the er, nothing was showing up but 6 hours later, bloodwork came back abnormal (cardiac levels did). Ct scan yesterday evening and more blood last night, with slightly elevated levels. This freaks me out for you because a friend of mine, 38... very good shape...etc. ended up having a 2nd heart attack at the hospital and her family/husband had gone home. It was a mishap between nurses and Dr that ignored the EKG reading.... (is that what it's called?) Anyway, young does not mean that it can't be very serious! :( Take care!!
