wy_kid_wrangler04
Looks like we will be going til June 4 with our regular school year-- though we will be doing stuff through the summer. Maybe 2 subjects a day alternating with what I want to get done over the summer. But i always do that to keep them from losing everything. We do make "summer school" fun though :D:D
DarlaS
Probably sometime in 2021. :leaving:
Tree House Academy
14 days now...I didn't update after we finished school today. Of course, with the way I am feeling right about now, it could be the longest 14 days in school history!
Ester Maria
In mid July. :D Though they're currently on vacations and then they'll prepare their exams at "school", then do exams, then have another almost-a-month of school and then summer break. bookfiend
Not soon enough! Three more weeks of work, one week of review and then the End of Year Celebration!!!
elise1mds
May 28 is our last day technically, but DS has pretty much already checked out.

Mommee & Baba
We don't have one. We school year-round. However starting in June we'll only be focusing on playing catch and working on whatever we need to complete before the new year rolls around. I love to continue reading and math through the summer months.
JudoMom
We have 26 days left. We were on track to finish mid-May, but we missed much of the month of March due to sickness. Of course, we have more than 26 days worth of work left in our books, so we'll probably go through mid-June at least.
gingersmom
We will end on the last day of May. Then we will do standarized tests and then vacation in Florida! We do school "light" during the summer and start up again in mid-August (usually because my son is requesting we start school again)
Guest Virginia Dawn
We are done when the work is done, which will hopefully be by Memorial Day. We are winding down a lot of things and doubling up on others.
Tree House Academy
Glad to hear others are in the same boat as us with finishing up stuff. We will school through summer for about 30 minutes to an hour a day, but it is NOTHING compared to what we do now. I am ready to have less work! My older ds started at 10am and is still working...just started Math and has English to go after math. I think **I** checked out along with Sarah's ds! :tongue_smilie: My kids are doing much better than I am!
Jennifer in MI
We finish up the last week of May. But, we continue throughout the summer with one math and one grammar lesson/week - just so we don't forget. We'll probably also review latin and geography one day/week. Liza Q
June 18th will be our last day but I am hoping that we will really be done on June 4 ~ those last two weeks are for anything leftover. Then we'll have a full month off and will start up again in mid-July with our summer schedule of 2 school days per week.
Dana
Friday!! Assuming we manage to get our work done each day this week. Fingers crossed! We'll take May off and start back up in June (year-round). But boy are we both looking forward to May!
cani e porci
May 6! I can't believe it. We've never finished this early before, and we even did some substantial travel during the fall. We will actually finish most of our work early next week, then we're on to standardized testing. We have a picnic with our homeschool group on Friday, and that's going to be our end-of-year celebration. It can't come soon enough!
Laura Corin
Some time in July. Calvin has exams until late June, then we have a bit of catching up to do. Laura

CalicoKat
June 1st. I redid our plan last night and have put out the schedule for the kiddos. No matter what we're done June 1st. We'll take a week off and then start the summer homeschool schedule of fun.

athena1277
We have 5 more school days left! :party:However with family in town later this week, we will not finish til next Thurs, May 6. We are winding down and looking forward to taking a break.
babysparkler
We are scheduled to be done this Thursday... but we are a bit behind so we will probably end in a couple more weeks.
Karen in CO
We have 32 days left, but my ds is home and teaching math and Japanese all summer so I may just roll into next year when this one finishes.
Pippen
May 27, but that will be a light week. I have two kids in ps and we've just followed that school schedule.
jenn-
As we school year round, we really don't have a last day. When DD finishes her spelling book (which is conveniently180 days) , she can start calling herself a 5th grader. She has 16 more days of that, but we are going on a week long vacation week after next, so probably towards the end of the month. She finished her second MUS book of the year today, so I told her she could have tomorrow off for math. Then we are going into a crash course on fraction concepts (switching math programs). PinkInTheBlue
We've been a little lighter than usual the last 3 weeks. We've gotten the basics and a little more done every day, alternating the extras so they are all covered with moderate regularity. It's time to spend about 4 to 5 weeks back into everything/everyday. During the summer (about 5 to 6 weeks from now) we'll take a week off each month (June, July and August) and do school about 3 days a week between. So we won't have a specific day because we spread it how we need it. We were really needing some relaxation right now and we'll get more (but spread out) over summer. Also, it tends to get SO miserably hot down here in August that there isn't much you can do outside. If that happens and we get stir crazy we'll just kick up the school. :)
Hoggirl
 I had originally planned on finishing May 7th, but ds has "kicked it up a notch" so we are going to finish this Thursday. We started at the beginning of August. For next year, we won't be able to start until mid-August, so we will likely never finish this early again, but it sure is fun THIS year. hornblower
June 25 :glare: It seems a loooooong way away. Then we're officially off until second week of Sep, though I think both the kids might work on spelling over the summer & ds has a bunch of science experiments he wants to do. patchfire
Our last day for the state is May 14 (yay!). Our last week, however, is filled with educational field trips. So our last day of written work is May 7. YAY!

Brindee
DD will most likely be finished the end of May, beginning of June. She'll be doing some math and grammar over the summer, 3 days a week, as well as some piano practice. She'll be in 9th, and wants to start her Home Ec and Logic electives in July, so she can finish them earlier, and not have so much for the whole year. But she'll have most of June off. Just Me
I am homeschooling a friend's child along with my own. I really can't be finished until his brother is so that he will have somewhere to stay during the day. So....we won't be done until June 11th. And believe me, it can't get here soon enough!!! Cinder
It keeps getting further and further away...:toetap05: You, too, huh? Ds1 goes to a private school and is done mid-May. I tried to keep ds2 on a similar schedule but he's at the feet-dragging age. You know, when they'd rather spend untold hours figuring out how to avoid doing their work than just buckle down and get it done in a couple hours. Or take an hour to do a short grammar lesson because he keeps veering off topic? So with our family vacation taking up 2 weeks in May/June it's looking like the last day for him is sometime at the end of June. :glare: Cinder

happyhomemaker25
We usually school year round with a really light summer. Twice a week. That being said, this past year was rough on our family and we did not get hardly any school done. Because of how far behind we are we will be taking June 20th - July 12th off if baby girl coorporates with my schedule. LOL
