Shelly in IL
I have fallen in love with The New Girl. It gets pretty loaded with sexual innuendo and plain out sex talk sometimes, but Gilmore Girls did that too. This is a little more so than that. If you can get around that, I find it to be hilarious! Farrar
You'd probably enjoy most of the USA line up like White Collar and Suits. If Being Erica is streaming anywhere you'd probably really like that. If you never watched Everwood, I'm pretty sure it's streaming somewhere and it's good.

kroe1
I just recently watched my first episode of 'Once Upon a Time'. Now I have downloaded all four seasons, watched them all, and cannot wait for Season 5. It certainly has the drama you seem to enjoy. Lady Marmalade
I agree with the recommendation for Everwood. Loved that show and was so sad when it was cancelled. A very young Chris Pratt was one of my favorite characters on the show. :) The medical dramas make me think of ER and House if you haven't seen them. Top Chef is my go-to cooking competition show. Heatherwith4
I'll second Once Upon a Time. I enjoy the Blacklist, too. It has quite a bit of violence, but it's very good.

Dmmetler
The Fosters is similar to Switched at Birth (as in, family drama with lots of teens-in this case, a foster family headed by two women with four teens age 15-16 and a tween). Seasons 1 and 2 are on Netflix, season 3 just started on ABC Family.
Lady Marmalade
where can I find ER? I have looked for this one...but couldn't find it. thank you all so much for the suggestions. I had no idea ER wasn't available to stream anywhere! After all these years now, you would think it would be. I guess they still want to sell the DVD set? Lame. I thought of another one while I was searching for the truth about ER. It didn't last too long, but Numb3rs was really enjoyable. I'm not into crime dramas much, but we really enjoyed this one. Laurel-in-CA
Suits Inspector Lewis Foyle's War Leverage (I second it) Numbers (I second that one, too) Eureka (sci fi, but fun) and Warehouse
Mergath
I liked a lot of shows on your list, and I'm so in love with Sense8 on Netflix. It's sci-fi, but has a good amount of romance and interpersonal stuff thrown in, too. It's a bit like a sci-fi Grey's Anatomy, in that it has the big ensemble cast and the different romances and potential romances and drama. But much, much better acted. I'm six episodes in, and it keeps getting better. And, uh, definitely R-rated. Don't watch when the kiddos are up. Also, you'll never look at Martha from Doctor Who the same way again. ;)
