  1. Audrey. I can still remember her baby powder smell.
  2. I hear you, sister! Gluten free, dairy free, one with no tomatoes, one plain picky "i dont like my food to touch each other". Its enough to make you want to cry. Taco bar here tonight. We'll see how it goes.
  3. There are a lot of coaches working on skype or phone that could help with self care I bet.
  4. I put avocado in my smoothie. Not as sweet as banana.
  5. Somehow I got a cold on vacation. Glad to be home in my own bed. Grocery shopping Laundry Calendar Camp dd? Backpack dd
  6. I find Stephanie Bennett Vogt very soothing. The book is Your Spacious Self and there is a website. It is more about clearing clutter than about routines. I love FLYLADY but don't really engage with the website much anymore. But I think her basic system has a lot of merit. When times are tough I just drop into a bare bones routine that nourishes me and keeps things running. Mine is: shower, make bed, do one load of laundry and know what's for dinner. This can get me pretty far. Evening and weekly routines can be added as necessary. All the best!
  7. I make GF meatloaf with rice crispy cereal as the bread crumbs. works well.
  8. I like Frankie and Grace on Netflix. Or it might be Grace and Frankie.
  9. I think this is really interesting. But my snarky side feels like there's a comment on our disconnected culture here. Newsflash- "the brain is connected to the body".
  10. My father's cousin has it and she is a lovely person. She has had some health issues but not too bad. She is in her fifties.
  11. I would think that a math master's wouldn't hurt, but the time would be better spent finding an area of passion in physics. Particularly by doing a (publishable?) thesis senior year. Even if not the ultimate area of passion- now is the time for depth rather than breadth.
  12. I just ordered a half lamb and a quarter beef but I haven't done the cuts yet. Usually going into summer like this I like to get more steaks than roasts cause I like to grill. In the fall I go the other way.
  13. Top three things I would want to get for people if I knew them IRL: 1. The planner for Joanne- cause it is April already. 2. A fun read for Rosie cause she is Rosie. 3. The camp shower for Strawberry cause it sounds like she is going to need it. Homesteading?!
  14. Clear papers off dining room table. Plan Ds6 birthday party What's for dinner?
  15. Yes B and D. I also wonder about blood sugar fluctuations.
  16. Check out wayfarers at Barefoot meandering.com. I haven't read the whole sample but it might be helpful. She schedules Bible but I think it would be easy to leave it off.
  17. Get ready for 10year old sleepover birthday party. The list is long. The day is short!
  18. My DH has it every day on top of his salad for lunch. It was helped gut issues. Make sure you get the live kind. Refrigerated not canned.
  19. Operation "Clean up every last thing from Christmas before Valentine's Day" has been completed. That is all.
  20. Gosh, I was just poring over the webpage this afternoon. I'm thinking of getting the online curriculum and materials kit for $125 and then trying the library for the books. We already have some of them. It looks like it will be nice to have the links on the computer already. Will I regret not getting the student activity book in hard copy? Or is it fairly simple to print what you need? What about that ABeCedarian reading program they recommend? Is it any good? Looks a little... lacking color? Another high-energy wiggly enthusiastic boy here
  21. Udis is the best bread sub. Often found frozen in grocery stores, although Trader Joes has it Defrosted. TJs also has GF toaster waffles and pancake mix and inexpensive oats. Ronzoni GF pasta. Annies GF mac and cheese. Start using beans, rice, potatoes, sweet potatoes as side dishes. By meal: Breakfast: rice Chex, GF oatmeal Lunch: soup or salad Dinner: protein, veg, rice or potatoes It is worth trying. Health benefits can be impressive if it is the problem.
  22. Sounds like maybe mono or something viral to me. This advice might be out there but maybe think about strategies to reduce inflammation- like turmeric.
