Medieval Mom
What does your forum user name mean? How/why did you choose it? I chose mine because my undergraduate major was in Medieval Studies ;)

AHASRADA
It is an acronym, made up of the first two letters of my family members' names (ds, me, dc) and our last name. I came up with it when trying to choose a screen name back in 1996, when we first got e-mail, and it has stuck.

Mergath
As a teenager, I was a die hard fan of Anne McCaffrey and her Pern series. I got really involved with Pern fandom, and even ran a couple of pbem's. (Black River Weyr was the big one). My Weyrwoman's Second's dragon's name was Mergath. I started using it as a username around the same time, and it just sort of stuck.

momee
I am momee. Plain and simple. Can you hear the kids calling me every time I sit down to the computer? As far as my picture? I can do it all. Fry bacon, kiss a boo boo, bake bread, clean laundry, cheer a friend, give birth (no small feat) and love my husband (not in that order). Thus the superwoman pic. Just kidding. My son gave me the picture of superwoman and for that, I kissed his teenage head :)

Punks in Ontario
Well, I'd change mine if it was at all easy. Punks was actually my childhood nickname, not what I call my children. Needleroozer
10+ years ago when I first came to the boards, I was LB in Seattle, but shortly before the change to the new boards, there were getting to be several folks who had LB in their board names, and it made doing a quick search for threads involving me a bit trickier (I am lazy, really). It was also around this time that I started shaving my head, and my family started calling me some of the nicknames from one of our fave books A Porcupine Named Fluffy- Spike, Lance, Needleroozer...... so when I decided that I wanted to change my board name to something a bit more fun and unusual, I grabbed Needleroozer. My hair is long again, so it doesn't fit as well, but I still like it.

milovany
My IRL name means "beloved" and milovany is Romanian for beloved. Or at least that's what a quickie Internet search told me one day. No reason that I chose Romanian (I was shown a long list of different languages) other than it was the nicest sounding. It sure beat the German option (Geliebter). :D
