Kareni
For me, it's Tom Lehrer's The Hunting Song which has been playing in my head for the last few days after listening to his album. Tom Lehrer's The Hunting Song I always will remember, ’twas a year ago november, I went out to hunt some deer On a mornin’ bright and clear. I went and shot the maximum the game laws would allow, Two game wardens, seven hunters, and a cow. I was in no mood to trifle, I took down my trusty rifle And went out to stalk my prey. What a haul I made that day. I tied them to my fender, and I drove them home somehow, Two game wardens, seven hunters, and a cow. The law was very firm, it Took away my permit, The worst punishment I ever endured. It turned out there was a reason, Cows were out of season, And one of the hunters wasn’t insured. People ask me how I do it, And I say, there’s nothin’ to it, You just stand there lookin’ cute, And when something moves, you shoot! And there’s ten stuffed heads in my trophy room right now, Two game wardens, seven hunters, and a pure-bred guernsey cow. Regards, Kareni
TravelingChris
I don't hear lyrics usually so I have melodies running through my head. Currently a commercial I like which is actually a song by Foster the People.
Karen in CO
I'm still trying to get the Christmas songs out of my head. It is not starting to look a lot like Christmas, the weather outside is not frightful and Mr. Grinch doesn't get to be a mean one again for another 11 months. GailV
Angel of Music from Phantom of the Opera. Probably one of the kids was singing it earlier. Who knows. Maybe it's on my mind because I have a cold and feel like death warmed over. Younger dd is in Annie, but she goes into her room and shuts the door to work on it, thankfully. acurtis75
The Beatles #1's album. My dad plays the guitar and introduced my 6 year old to this album. It is the only album on the shared ipad that isn't school related that she listens to regularly. She walks around all day singing, "she loves me yeah, yeah, yeah", "yesterday all my troubles seemed so far away"..."it's been a hard day's night & I've been working like a dog". She gets some funny looks in the store and I get the songs stuck in my head all day.
elise1mds
I love the one by REM! I will probably be the odd duck here, but I can't stop humming O Fortuna....that Latin song in Excaliber. I love Carmina Burana! I can still hum most of it and even sing a couple of the verses (the ones that are done in German). I like your musical taste ;)
Little Nyssa
I didn't realize what song it was going through my mind til you asked! A terrible song by the Russian rock group "Noll" [Zero] It's about a guy who no longer loves this girl, but she keeps pestering him: "Yooooooooooooouuuuuuuuuuu are looking at me as if you were in church. I can hardly stand to be with you!" [in Russian] Why???? Let me think of a different song quick!! Oh, in the grocery they were playing "I can't help falling in love with you." I'll take that. That's much better.:001_smile:
Soror
Nothing here- I am not musically orientated, although we do love to sing folk songs and such. Most recent song we've been singing is Joshua fought the battle of Jericho.

Wendi
A song from church on Sunday: Standing on this mountaintop Looking just how far we’ve come Knowing that for every step You were with us Kneeling on this battle ground Seeing just how much You’ve done Knowing every victory Was Your power in us Scars and struggles on the way But with joy our hearts can say Yes, our hearts can say Never once did we ever walk alone Never once did You leave us on our own You are faithful, God, You are faithful ("Never Once" by Matt Redman) Wendi
