MariannNOVA
yes - it's in the back. covered, screened in, ceiling fan, lights, very nice. We get to it via the kitchen. it also has sun shades. the covered porch is for sale with the rest of the house.;)
Daisy
I voted yes but it more like a covered patio rather than a covered porch and it is in the back.
Mrs Mungo
Hm, what counts? I have a tiny porch with a roof thing over it. Does that count?
KatieJ
I call it the porch, but it's really a 3 season room. Lots of windows, but no heat or a/c. It does have electricity ................ fans, lots of fans in the summer time.
Ailaena
No; it's the first house where I don't have one and I miss it :(

Wheres Toto
No and I hate it. Standing outside in the rain to unlock the door sucks. Our main door is actually at the back of the house and opens onto our deck. We did have a 10x10 canopy set up for a while but took it down before one of the storms. For a while our gutter was leaking so there was actually a waterfall to stand in while unlocking the door. DH didn't take TOO long to fix that. Laura Corin
We have a porch but it's just an entry area - you couldn't sit in it. I answered 'no'. I'd really like a sun room/conservatory... Laura
clementine
Hm, what counts? I have a tiny porch with a roof thing over it. Does that count? :iagree:This is ours too.
Hannah
We have a covered walkway from the front door to the 'lapa'. So it acts like a porch, but isn't quite.
Amy loves Bud
We have a covered front porch with lots of comfy seating for hanging out and watching the hood. Plenty of room for neighbors to join us. We have a covered patio in back by the pool. It has lights and ceiling fans and soon a built-in counter with grill. :001_smile:
lorrainejmc
No porch here. It isn't typical in the UK/Ireland but I do love the idea of one.:001_smile:
chepyl
A little one out front and a smaller one out back :) just enough for a table and a few chairs.

curlylocks
Yes...it is on the front of the house. We're thinking about extending around at least 2 more sides. :)
PinkInTheBlue
It does have a covered porch at the front door but it's small. It's maybe 12x12 or so. The back door has a much bigger screened in area.
amo_mea_filiis.
Yes we do.
amydavis
Yes, we have one on the front of the house, that runs the length of the front of the house. It has a lot of good space for rocking chairs. Then, we have what is technically considered a carport on the side of the house, which is large enough for two parked cars. We use this space as a covered patio. I want to finish it into a sunroom, or screen in room of some sort, one of these years...
delaney
Just a portico but I wish I had a porch!
akmommy
We have A small deck in the back that is completely enclosed. It's accessed from living room via French doors. It's not really big enough to entertain or anything on, but its a nice place hang out or have my morning coffee when it's warm out. We just have a covered walk in the front. Night Elf
No, we don't. However, it is a feature on my dream house (which is just a picture in my mind, not an existing house) and it would be a wrap-around. Ah.... one day.

Guest IdahoMtnMom
I have a deck on the middle floor (which is the main living area) that is about 1000 sq feet and half of it (north and west sides) are covered by the eaves on the 3rd floor roof. annandatje
We use both the front and back covered porches. My swing along with other furniture is on front porch. My beloved sky chair, hot tub, and patio set are on back porch. We also have a covered porch/balcony on front 2nd floor. Two bedrooms have French doors that lead out onto balcony. It unfortunately does not get used to its fullest potential.
KrissiK
Well, depends on your definition of porch. In front, we have a covered entry way, so people can ring our doorbell and not stand in the rain. Out the back we have a small, covered patio. I'm not sure if either fits the traditional definition of a porch. So, I voted other. Because they're covered. But not porches.
AuntieM
Current house, no; previous homes, yes. Loved my covered porches. If we strike oil someday we will add a covered screened porch.

nono
Yes. Upstairs and downstairs. And another wraparound side and back. Wraparound is uncovered upstairs. Makes for some nice late afternoon sunning almost all year 'round.
