It is the exact one I picked from allowable choices. I LOVE it. Hopefully Mr. Martha will too.....
Murphy101
Sons of Anarchy has changed the perception of that name for me. Oh wow. Totally forgot that! Lourdes? Simeon? No Simeon. I like Lourdes. Lots actually. But we have an L name already.

Genevra - okay, that is from Harry Potter and may not be a saint's name. So sue me. Hannah - I love this name because it is a palindrome. Iris -pulling from "Rainman", now Meredith. Miriam. Margaret. I love them all. Surely one is a Saint's name. Naomi. Noelle. Natalie. Orion. Octavia. This name ranks very high for Charisma, Career, Love/Friendship, and Power, according to "The Secret Universe of Names." Queenie, obviously. Ruby. I love this name! It is the name I gave to a character in a half-written novel I wrote. Sonia. Serena. Sophie. U... i got nothin' Veronica, obviously. Willow. I know you said the thing about the spelling, but seriously, "Wyllow" just looks like you can't spell. Xandra - not many options, here. Yasmine - not really a fan, but it's a Y. Zelda. Zane. Zandra.Zion. Zena. If you use any name beginning with Z, folks will figure it has to be the last child. ;)
chocolatechip
Marianne? Mariana? Madeline? Magdalen? Maria/Mary/Mariam/Marie? Margaret? Marina? Ok, there are some girl M ideas from a list of Catholic saints. Perhaps other letters to follow if I get a spare chance -- I love names so this is fun. :) Do you/your DH have preferences on old-fashioned vs. more modern sounding names? Veronica, obviously. dh says no bc he dislikes all the nicknames.[ Willow. I know you said the thing about the spelling, but seriously, "Wyllow" just looks like you can't spell. i know. *sigh* which is why it probably won't be used. Zena. If you use any name beginning with Z, folks will figure it has to be the last child. ;)- Makes me wanna give a Xena war cry. Dh loved that and Hercules back when they were first on TV. No derivatives of Mary - says dh while I sigh and smh Idk. Well WE know, but it's open for disagreement. We like normal but not dime a dozen names usually. Either of us like made up names or unisex names. (Which i know is up for debate.) Girl-Tudy Boy-Zeb (Zebedee) Yes, I'm from the south. I actually like Zebedee! Not familiar with tudy, just Trudy. Word Nerd
I tried to read a Wikipedia synopsis to see why a TV character would "ruin" a classic name that's been around for hundreds of years, but I got bored and still don't know what makes Gemma so terrible. I love the name and don't think it's that popular. It's rather popular here in my mini-circle of society. I know if .. Oh... I think 7 little Gemmas. So no, it's not John, but that's more popular than I'd like. Went to look it up, and you are right, not terribly common at all. 300+ on the ranking at SS. All I can say is watch two episodes. She is one stone cold hearted "mother". How about Isabeau? My Texan sister named my niece that. Iz-a-bow? Eye-ZA-bow? Isabe- Southern dropping of a last letter? It seems like he perhaps has a particular idea or style in mind. . . Oh he has absolutely no clue. That's would sure be helpful tho. The ever changing and open to demolition, modification or additions short list: NAOMI has been added, much to my surprise. Now how to I pronounce it? NAY-o-me or NIE-o-me? I've never met someone in person with this name, so I am unsure. Dh says he really likes Naomi Willow X. Hmm. I'm iffy about the whole thing, but I don't hate it. Isabel/dora - likely onky a middle name to reduce nicknames. Sophia - as a middle bc it's too popular for a first Margo - middle only Helen Yvette (personally I am not a fan of this one)

Really really sad for them. ETA: Yes, the comments were deleted without reply and I have reported the IP and taken steps to protect my blog from a known hacker. I have no idea how to report the IP to WTM or if that's even an option. Martha, CONGRATULATIONS. Also, I am so sorry to hear this. This was most probably a non-member, since these boards can be read by the public. But if you want to send me a message with the the IP, I will ask OtherJohn to do a check on our registered members. I have also deleted the totally ridiculous argumentation that followed on your mention of the troll, and anyone who resurrects THAT will get suspended. And, did I mention CONGRATULATIONS?
