  1. Ours is Carson (from Downton Abbey)
  2. If you have a percussionist, you possibly have indoor percussion to look forward to? It’s super intense, but it’s all inside. It’s your reward for getting through marching season. I’m also in AL and have a percussionist (mallet player). Really only the last game or two is cold. September is slightly better than August. Good luck to you!!
  3. Thank you for coming along side this teen and helping her get an appointment to discuss options.
  4. If I’m logged into my account at my library, I can see the history of all the books that I have checked out. It includes audio books. Does your library have something like that?
  5. I voted other because my kid’s high school requested the information, but dd did not submit it. She thought that it was a little weird and not their business.
  6. I’m so sorry. I’m praying for you, your church family, and your community.
  7. We stayed at two different Hampton Inns last month. Both times the pending charge on my credit card showed the higher amount, but when it fully posted on my credit card, it was the correct (lower) amount.
  8. Congratulations! They are precious!
  9. I had a successful ECV with my second pregnancy a little over 19 years ago. The baby stayed head down after she was turned and was born 9-10 days later (I can’t remember the exact date of the ECV). I did not have any pain during the procedure. The next day, I was a little sore - kind of like when you do a lot of stomach crunches after not doing any for awhile but really mild. I hope that the baby decides to turn and everything goes as planned.
  10. I put other. Our pediatrician will see patients until the August after high school graduation, so they can do college physicals and any needed paperwork. We love our pediatrician, so our kids stay with the practice until they get “kicked” out.
  11. I can see my 21 year old driving my 14 year old and a friend somewhere, so I would let my 14 ride with a friend whose older sibling was driving. It is a given that I would know the family well enough to know that the driver is safe and experienced.
  12. I know this has been said, but we would never leave the house if we had to wait for everyone to be well. We haven't had fever, but someone has been sick in my house with a cough since the beginning of December. However, my youngest still hasn't gotten sick. I hope he stays well now that I said that.
  13. She is beautiful!! Thank you so much for sharing.
  14. I had mine out at 31. It was not fun. The one thing that surprised me is that frozen stuff (ice cream, popsicles, milkshakes) hurt a lot. I needed warm salty food, so mostly soups. I think this was mentioned earlier, but she will need to drink constantly. You don't want the area to get dried out. So have her drink A LOT!
  15. I have no problem with this as long as the item is returned unused (or in the condition it was bought). I oftern do this with clothing for my boys. I will buy more than one size and see which one fits. I will return the ones that don't fit. Often I will then buy a second pair of the ones that did fit, so we have a spare. Only one of my three sons will clothes shop without grumbling the whole time.
  16. I definitely want to play more games this year. We have several card games in addition to board games. I have no doubt we need to purge some too.
  17. We eat Chinese buffet on Christmas Eve. My mom cooks Christmas dinner. It will most likely be ham with a lot of sides (almost a Thanksgiving repeat). On New Year's Day, we always eat appetizer type food. It varies from year to year.
  18. Praying for your husband and your whole family SWB.
  19. My mom bought my kids an elf when they first came out. We moved him around that first year, but that thing is creepy. I didn't pull him out the next year, and the kids never asked about him. I threw him away. I am glad that I got rid of him before all of the elaborate elf on the shelf stuff became popular.
