TraciWA
We told the kids about baby number 5 as well as both sets of parents. Then last night I started spotting and am still spottiing today. Feeling really bummed. :confused1:

gardenmom5
hugs. I did that with #5. from about seven weeks to 12 weeks I spotted off and on. It was implantation bleeding. so I hope it's nothing serious for you.
Barb_
Happened to me with four pregnancies. Only one was a miscarriage. I hope you are as fortunate

MyThreeSons
19 years ago today, I was going through the same thing, but I was a little farther along. The doctor put me on bedrest for a few days. Today, that precious little baby stands 6'4" tall, and is still growing. I hope you have similar results. Get rest, drink lots of water, let your family spoil you.
Guest submarines
Maybe. But I am 4-5 weeks. Guess it is a wait and see now. Implantation happens around the same time when you'd expect your period--a couple of days earlier, usually, but around the same time. So if you are about 4 weeks, the timing should be just about right. It could also be burst vessel. Many women spot and things go well. I hope it is nothing. :grouphug:
MistyMountain
I spotted and even had a brief episode of red bleeding in my first pregnancy and it turned out okay. It was really worried too when it was happening. I hope everything is okay for you.
Catwoman
I'm so sorry, Traci. I hope the spotting turns out to be nothing and that all is well with your pregnancy. :grouphug:
Melissa in Australia
:grouphug: :grouphug: I know many women who have spotted, me included and everything has ended up fine. My mother had periods for the first 4 months of one of her pregnancies.

Meriwether
When I miscarried at 5 weeks, I had a lot of cramping. In fact, I started cramping before I started bleeding. I was achey around 5 weeks this time. It is scary. I'd rest and hope for the best at this point.
J-rap
I am so sorry. You never know, though. Like others, I spotted with a couple of my pregnancies. I remember one of them began around 6 weeks and went off and on for about a month. I did have to be on bed rest off and on throughout that pregnancy, but that baby is now 25 years old. TraciWA
Thanks for checking on me. Still spotting off and on very lightly. I don't have any cramping. Going to make an appointment to get checked. Thanks for all the encouragement. I have never spotted with any of mine before so this is new territory for me. HollyDay
First off, hugs to you...... I spotted with every single pregnancy but one was a miscarriage. I went to the ER with my youngest dd because the spotting was really more than spotting and the cramping was awful! Turned out to be a bladder infection that antibiotics fixed. She is a teenager now. Spotting with my oldest dd scared me pretty bad because that was the pregnancy after the miscarriage. She is a senior in high school now. PrairieSong
I have spotted and gone on to have a healthy baby, more than once. I hope all is well with you and your baby.
LizzyBee
Thanks for checking on me. Still spotting off and on very lightly. I don't have any cramping. Going to make an appointment to get checked. Thanks for all the encouragement. I have never spotted with any of mine before so this is new territory for me. FWIW, I had a miscarriage at 5 weeks, and the cramping was much worse than the bleeding. Since you're just spotting and not having cramping with it, I hope that means all is well. :grouphug:

PeachyDoodle
:grouphug: I spotted with both of mine, and sometimes outright bled with ds off and on until about 24 weeks. Everything turned out just fine. Even this early, they can do an ultrasound to see the heartbeat, and that's reassuring. I think I had my first with ds at 5 weeks.
