elegantlion
I'm looking for a male first name that can also be used as a surname. I want something a bit stuffy maybe with a tad of elitism, but not humorous stuffy or any well known last names, so not Astor or Vanderbilt. It can begin with any letter but B, I have too many characters with B names, which is why I'm looking. I don't want to give away the last name yet. I'm leaning towards Reeves, but it's not quite right. Any ideas? Update from post #47: I have made my decision, I thank you all for your help. I have settled on Ashton for many reasons. I considered each choice, but Ashton brings the connotation to mind that I need. Edited April 28, 2012 by elegantlion update

Mrs Mungo
Riley or Reilley Riley is too pedestrian for an elite name. We know about a million Rileys (with various spellings) in the 12-17 year old range.

5wolfcubs
I'm leaning towards Reeves, but it's not quite right. Since you liked an R name, how about Reston? Although I like the Preston mentioned previously also!
elegantlion
Again these are a great help. A few i can eliminate because I know someone by that name or I' ve used them as a charcter before.
