Nakia
Just wondering. I'm starting to feel like a weirdo. Well, feeling like a weirdo actually has little to do with the fact that I don't like bacon. But anyway, I'd like to know if I'm the lone bacon hater in the world. Sharon37127
I hate real bacon, but love turkey bacon- it has a completely different taste to me. (My favorite brand is from Aldi's, can't do brand names like Jennie-O, Hormel...) You are not alone.

sbgrace
Add one more because I don't like it either. It's one of the very few things that made me sick during my pregnancy. Ruined it for me forever I think but I wasn't a fan before that point. Generally I don't like fatty meats.
Desert Rat
Yes. Well, you and my 8yo. You guys are weird. I was a vegetarian for 8 years. The first meat I ate after those 8 years was bacon. And the second meat was, too. :)

Belacqua
Send the shunned my way. They may be the only crowd I can trust around a plate of bacon! I was chatting just yesterday with a man who has been a strict vegan for more than 20 years. I asked him if there's anything he misses from his non-vegan days, and he didn't hesitate a second before saying, "Bacon. More than anything else, bacon. It might just break me." OrganicAnn
We generally don't eat much meat in our household, but we do love our bacon. I had some in a restaurant recently, oh my was it good. Extra thick. Really crispy without being in any way burnt.
Terabith
I like it occassionally on sandwiches, but that's a pretty recent thing. For years, I passionately disliked even the smell of it. It made me feel faintly nauseous. Actually, I'm still not wild about the smell. On the other hand, I have a friend who as a child thought canadian bacon was made of Canadians. And ate it anyway. :D

Sandra in FL
Bacon is my favorite food - nothing like waking up to the smell of bacon. My college room mate (who refused to let me cook dinner) said I cook perfect bacon - not too crispy, not too soggy - quite a compliment because her cooking was to die for. dhudson
Yes, yes, you are. Asparagus is only edible wrapped in bacon. Bacon makes almost everything better. Since I started watching my weight, :tongue_smilie:, I generally only have turkey bacon but it is better than no bacon at all.
elegantlion
Not love bacon!! :svengo: You could put nutella on it. Bacon is the food of love in my household. Boy in bad mood, I make bacon, boy happy. It's simple.

justamouse
A grilled bacon and nutella sandwich on brioche would be awesome. Actually, I think some banana should go in there, somewhere...cause bacon between whole wheat banana pancakes is to die for, so it's only right that bacon and bananas would be good.... Mrs Mungo
Maybe some of you just haven't had it the right way. Maybe your moms cooked it like my friend who likes her bacon to be "crispy," but by crispy she means burned.
