Terabith
My favorite picture book is The Donkey's Dream by Barbara Berger. It has gorgeous illustrations and a vibe of both Catholic and Waldorf.

marbel
Is this for you? Kids? Ages? In any case, a favorite in my house is The Story of Holly and Ivy by Rumer Godden, illustrated by Barbara Cooney. hippiemamato3
For kids I guess? I want to read one each night with my 10 year old DD and 17 year old DS. It’s been a really difficult year here and I’m looking for some joy.

But then, for all I know, you are able to read a book a day! I think 10 is the perfect age for that book. 17 year old boy will likely find it too sweet and girlish. Well, I'm saying that based on my boy, LOL. It's about an orphan girl and a doll... Don't forget Dickens A Christmas Carol, though that may take more than one night. The audio by Jim Dale is fantastic. Edited November 27, 2019 by marbel 1

Lori D.
Hands down, our family's top 2 Christmas books:Christmas Every Day (Howells) -- it looks like this version has several more stories in it as wellFather Christmas Letters (Tolkien) -- you can read a letter a day; some other editions are abridged, so that's why I recommend the linked edition Slightly longer books (so, they may take several sittings) that would work well with your tweens and teen:The Thirteen Days of Christmas (Overton) The Miracle on 34th Street (Davies)One Hundred and One Dalmatians (Smith) -- set at Christmas And some picture books that are well loved here, even when DSs were teens:The Remarkable Christmas of the Cobbler's Sons (Sawyer)The Christmas Knight (Curry)A Small Miracle (Collington)Trouble at Christmas (Johnson)Christmas Trolls (Brett) Rhyming or Poems:How the Grinch Stole Christmas (Suess)When It Snowed That Night (Faber) Edited November 28, 2019 by Lori D.

ScoutTN
The Best Christmas Pageant Ever by Barbara Robinson. James Herriot's The Christmas Day Kitten. Cranberry Christmas by Wende and Harry Devlin. Another vote for Holly and Ivy, On Christmas Day in the Morning, and The Father Christmas Letters! Those are all faves here. We always read The Grinch and some Jan Brett books. A nicely illustrated edition of A Christmas Carol by Dickens is good to read, though it is too long for one sitting in my family. Patricia Polacco has several nice Christmas books.

Sneezyone
"You Are Special"by Max Lucado is one of our favorites. It's theme is clearly spiritual and refers to a "maker" but there are no overt references to God. For secular books, we still love "The Grinch Who Stole Christmas". Tina
There are several Advent books with a daily story. The first one is Jotham's Journey. All three by that author are set in Jesus' birth time and place. My three kids loved them.
